This year, we were hosted at Question Mark Bar in Jomtien Complex which turned out to be an excellent space for the event. A delicious buffet meal was sourced from three local restaurants – Rich Man Poor Man Restaurant (Jomtien Soi 9), Da Nicola Restaurant (opposite Question Mark in Jomtien Complex) and Chok Dee Restaurant (Sukhumvit Highway nearly across from Under Water World). Entertainment was provided by the always-energetic, ever-popular B-Boys and a most professional, entertaining cabaret group from selected venues in Boys Town. The always popular TAKE CARE!! lucky draw brought cheers from winners of a wide selection of prize vouchers provided by many of the venues and businesses supportive of our HIV/AIDS prevention efforts, including A Bomb, Au Bon Coin Restaurant, Baan Souy Resort, BC Bar, Big Kiss Bar, Blue Chilli’s, Boy Gaga Bar, Bruno’s Restaurant, Castro Bar, Colonial Bar, Copa Bar, Cupidol Bar, Diamond Bar, Duc’s Bar, Eros Bar, Forest House Bar, Four T Bar, Good Boys Bar, Happy Boys Bar, Kawaii Bar, Kotta Restaurant, L&N Bar, Liberty Computer, Lucky 7 Bar, New Café Royale, Nice Boys Bar, Oscar’s Bar, Oud’s Bar, Pattaya Sports Clinic, Pour House Bar, Power Boys Bar, Rich Man Poor Man Restaurant, Sansuk Sauna & Guest House, Serene Night Club, Sky Bar, Sun Bar, Sunny Boys Bar, The Venue Residence and Show Bar, Thonglor Clinic, Toy Boys, U Turn Bar, Vassa Bar, Wild West Bar. With 81 paid admissions, receipts from the lucky draw, a quickie auction, sale of heart stickers for the favorite B-Boy and cash donations, we were thrilled to clear 55,250 baht for the purchase of safer sex packs which we distribute to about 40 venues in Pattayaland, Sunee Plaze and Jomtien Complex. Our sincerest thanks go to the venues, businesses and individual supporters for insuring that this event was a grand success. Particular thanks to those who joined with us for an evening of good fun and fundraising support.
