Guest fountainhall Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 There is note in The Nation today about Thai Air Asia adding a third daily flight between Don Mueang and Hong Kong. The service commences April 30 with the flight departing 3:40pm and arriving HKG 7:20pm. The return flight departs HKG 7:55pm and arrives back in Bangkok at 9:45 pm.Book from tomorrow until 3 March and there is a promotional one-way fare of Bt. 1,790 for flights from April 30 to February 9 next year. (But note it does not say if this fare applies for the return sector from HKG as well)! If you plan to make a trip in the peak autumn season, the new flight should be considerably cheaper than the existing flights. The two existing flights to HKG depart DMK at 06:30 am and 4:30 pm. Quote
Guest abang1961 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 FH, thanks for the information. But if I recall correctly, you dislike travelling on Budge Airlines... This 3rd flight has excellent timing.. 3.40 pm is a good time to fly out and 7.20 pm is a good time to land in HK. Wow, just the right time for some authentic Goose dishes...yum yum This is for those who must learn a Cantonese song - Ms Frances Yip's Shanghai Bund Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 you dislike travelling on Budge Airlines I loathe Air Asia - and there are reasons for that! I am perfectly happy on other budget carriers. I've taken lots of Nok and Tiger flights, and usually take EasyJet in Europe. But for the Hong Kong route, it would take a lot to drag me away from the Emirates A380 Quote
