Guest fountainhall Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 There's a thread on another Forum about how the weather in Pattaya over the last month or so has been quite untypical for this time of year - cloudy, misty and very little sun. It's been the same in Bangkok. In fact, the weather has been quite unusual since December. In all the years I have been here, there have been several periods in those months when the temperature would fall quite considerably and it would be pleasant to have windows open, at least in the mornings. Apart from about 3 days, I cannot remember any colder spells this year; the weather has remained consistently hot.And the sun has been conspicuous by its absence. Each day there is perhaps 30 minutes of sun in the morning and perhaps a little very late in the afternoon. Most times, like today, it is quite dull and overcast. That other poster suggested pollution was the problem. I find it hard to believe that’s the only reason as this time of year often has the clearest days when I can see for miles from my condo.Last year, April and May were the hottest I can recall. I hope this is not an omen that it will be even hotter this year. Quote
