Guest Hayjon Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Which are the best places to go in Bangkok where they have more mature- type masseurs, who can give a genuinely good massage - preferably gay, but not necessarily. I've often wondered what happens to them when they get to age 50 or 60, but can still give good service? There must be some around somewhere. I prefer older types who know what they are doing. Quote

Someone else will have to make a recommendation for the type of gay massage you seek, but for a legitimate massage, not gay, try Marble House. I've been there several times and it's the best legitimate massage I've found in all of Thailand and several of the masseurs are mature to elderly. The following is from an article I have on hand, but now I have no idea where I got it from: _____ This establishment owes its popularity, especially with tourists, to the professionalism of its masseurs. They do the massaging in a very soothing atmosphere and as a result customers keep coming back. It offers the following services: Traditional Thai Massage THB330 for two hours; Oil Massage THB1,000 for two hours; Foot Massage Reflexology THB280 per hour; and Pedicure and Manicure THB200. Branches: 3rd floor, Ruamchit Plaza, near Soi 15: Tel: +66 02 651 0905 (10am-11.30pm) Sukhumvit Soi 13, Near Ambassador Hotel, Tel: +66 02 254 4616 (9am-midnite). 410/6 Siam Square Soi 6, Beside Novotel Hotel, Pathumwan: Tel: +66 2 658 4124 (9 am-12.30 am) Quote
Guest wowpow Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Marble House have a branch on Suriwong Soi Wall Street which used to specialise in blind male masseurs as well as women. It was very good but then they changed and the massages became poor and I stopped going. Maybe it is back on form? They also had a place just off Thaniya Plaza, first subsoi on the right from Silom. I never tried that. The Siam Square one was good but asked higher prices than Wall Street but reduced to the same on request. Quote
Guest Pearl69er Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 an excelent point Hayjon !! I've found older masseurs much better despite my tendency to fall for a cute young smile. Experience and strong hands are always preferable if it's a real massage you want. But does anyone know where one can find a Chinese massage in Bangkok or Pattaya. ? I've been addicted to Thai massage for years but after a recent visit to Hong Kong I now regard Chinese body massage--particularly if you have a bad back like me--as far superior. Quote
Guest alan1989 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I guess this topic is dead for a while)) I'd like to renew it. Probably something changed in last few years. So guys, does anybody know where i can find any senior masseurs in Thailand now? 50+yo would be great! Thanx!! Quote
