Guest PattayaPlayers Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 The Pattaya Players (Home of Pattaya's Professional Amateurs) are proud to announce that tickets are now on sale for their latest comic calamity, “Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime” (directed by Wendy Khan) playing on September 28-29, 2012 at Eastern Grand Palace Hotel. This mad cap mystery involves the disappearance of the wife of Dr. Rupert Short, followed shortly by the arrival of the legendary Inspector Drake of Scotland Yard - poised to investigate. A battle of wits ensues between Drake and the prime suspect, who appears to have committed the 'perfect crime.' After a number of hilarious twists and turns, Drake thinks he has gotten to the bottom of things – but has he? This spoof mystery is packed with laughs, jokes, comedy situations and adult humour, and follows in the footsteps of the Pattaya Players’ recent production of "Dead to the Last Drop." Starring in the five-person cast will be a mixture of experienced old heads and some new faces, with Mike Pence as Doctor Short, Bob Smith as Sergeant Plod, Kirill Storch as Inspector Drake, Clare Bryant as Sabrina and Eileen Denning as Miss Short. The show runs at 7:00 pm each night and an optional dinner buffet will be available at The White Horse Tavern before and after the show. This exclusive production marks the Pattaya Players’ fifth year of performances and promises to send off audiences with farce, frivolity and mysterious mayhem! "Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime" will play on the elite top floor of Eastern Grand Palace, with a picturesque, panoramic sky-view of the city.
