PeterRS Posted April 27 Posted April 27 The painting is by Rembrandt and was comissioned by the Amsterdam Guuild of Surgeons. There are several copies of The Anatomy Lesson. While I worked at Jefferson Medical University this painting was displayed on a staircase and was quite a sight at 8 ft x 6 ft. Quote
