Jason above shares great idea - after bars close walking the area is almost always guaranteeing that we may spot guys eating , drinking , talking or just sitting  alone or socialising , looking for that last chance to catch somebody with cash.

what about novelty idea of walking there from Raya ? staying fit is one thing but it's more practical reason  as such walk is through boy infested area and is best way to assess how market looks like. Massage shops along Suriwong , turn left to soi 6 , another set of massage shops and on Silom one may see boys going to the work, all those pleasures you depriving yourself by taking taxi or motorsai.

From my last two trips I did took a walk from Raya or Quarter Silom to Arena it's not a very demanding walk and it's not that hot yet either unlike last year at the same time, but I opt to take the motorcycle this time because I was short in time for my other activities hehehe

I also stubbornly took the Airport Link and BTS from the airport instead of a taxi from Suvarnabhumi which bite off 2 hrs of the day that could have used for rest and walk time. 

Ohh and anyway a direct flight from Dubai actually just takes 7-8 hrs but I got a great deal with Qatar Airways of below USD500 round trip with only catch is the layovers. But with that more I have more extra money for the boys. 😁😁

Day 2 in Bangkok 

Today was not a very eventful because full day time I'm just laying in bed lazily after breakfast nursing my hangover and Jetlag tandem. Raya's breakfast spread sure is catered to asian/japanese palate than western or continental compared to Quarter Silom, I liked it so much.

Today, According to some of the people I follow in social media it rained hard for about 30 mins in Nana area (well nobody will ever see me going there that's for sure 😁) , but here in Silom/Surawong not even a drizzle. As per the local news they expect more rains until 1-2 May but with around 41' C temp at peak.

By this evening I went out around the area I just went to buy a few souvenir in the nearby Donki Store in Thaniya and had some street food in Patpong for dinner while waiting for gogo bar show time.

As like where I was supposed to go yesterday, I went to Atlas today. By 22:20 I arrived and saw that I am the sole customer of the night. I felt bit shy when these big burly men all smiling at me from the stage while they pose and flex. 

I am an introvert by nature and being in spotlight make me do spontaneous decisions, some I regret up till today hahaha.

Anyway so I told the waiting staff to call down the boy I fancy the most, T to sit with me a bought him a drink. I didn't regret it as he was very big and attractive and though I'm not good with small talks, beer help a little. I'm not into public display of affection but I can help and love holding hands with him and squeezing his muscly arms every now and then.

After 10mins 3 other solo customers came and sat on other seats, and still I'm the only one having a boy with me. Then by 22:50 the show starts and my boy T was part of the programme went to the back to prepare. While he was out somehow my hands became bit lonely again saw a nearby bulky boy K and invited him to sit with me and also bought him a drink. While we are chatting it seems to be quite busy yesterday (Saturday).

The show is not that exciting, just a lip syncing drag queen, then my boy T doing his flexing right after. Then it's the big cock show of only 2 not bulky but quite lean muscly boys posing at the stage and went down for tips. I gave both of them THB100 each. After that another lip syncing drag queen the show ended. 

By now I already told the bar I'm taking T with me and he already change to street clothes. I have given K, the guy seating with me, also another THB100 for his time. 

Overall I paid THB2500 in the bill. This is for 2 beers I consumed, 1 boy drink for T, 1 boy drink for K and the bar fine. This is not counting the tips I gave to the performers and to K.

I can't get enough of saying this but I feel I struck gold with T. He was never in a hurry with me in the room, he let me feel his muscles, ohh I love muscle worshipping big boys, ehemm he made me feel good, we also talked quite a bit before we do the actual deed. I'm so satisfied. He was fun to talk to. T seems to be one of the popular ones according to K when we were chatting at the bar. T lives and travels all the way to Don Meung and has his own Gym to open in the morning so even if I wanted to keep him I can't. I sent him home with THB4000.

quite a splurge  but clearly you consider it money well spent and this is what trips to Thailand are all about

Yes 😍 I did splurged quite a bit and absolutely it was worth every single baht spent.

But I'm also aware that this is not sustainable and may work against me later on by spoil the boys they may expect the same everytime 😂😂

They will but fortunately word ' no' was invented in XXVII century BC and put into good use ever since .

Specially when comes to drinks and tips in bar they quietly resign when you refuse next time  but still will be trying.

Lowering tip in  the room may be harder to execute as guy may suspect something is wrong with his services and best way to go about that is to discuss  new tip before leaving bar.

it they feel too entitled there are another bars and boys in them.

If you go to a massage place in some particular areas of Bangkok, on their menu below the usual oil/cream/scrub options mentions "minimum tip" these massage shops has a happy ending by default. So you can add more if you like especially if they did a great job.

If there are no minimum tip me mentioned you, then you may have entered a standard legitimate massage place where tips is depends on you, I normally give 100-200 depends on my satisfaction for a normal massage. And IF happy ending was offered to you near the end of the session and you can negotiate the amount the the masseur directly and be clear of what the masseur can or can't do during the happy ending.

Okay good to know. My first trip to Thailand was last year and I went to KMan Spa twice. Neither time did they ask to negotiate a price, it just proceeded to the full deal post-massage (however, they each all spoke virtually no English which might have been the reason).

Each time I left a 50% overage on the minimum tip (1500 TBH vs 1000 TBH), which I based on the one fellow here who has a review blog (can't recall the name) and said his max tip is 1200 TBH. But now it sounds like I was undercutting them by about 1500 TBH! I wonder if I'll even be allowed back?! LOL.

don't worry , you paid fairly considering area. Upper limit of 2500-3000 would be applicable to more upscale places in such areas, like Jey or Prince
