Yum! Although I dislike when they serve me the sad looking 'western' style egg. I much prefer the Thai style fried egg, which has crispy edges and is cooked in a lot of oil.

I like runny egg yolks but I agree the crispy edges are good too!

I've observed the same thing at FL. Sometimes the egg arrives crispy around the edges while other times it's more like a poached egg. I chalk it up to the cook's preference or customer's request. When Thais are presented with the latter, they'll typically mash the egg into the hot rice which then transforms the texture. Either way I like it.

I love the window seats. Sometimes while I am eating, I get a knock on the window and it's from one of the guys on their way to work. I love it when they recognise us and say hi!

some are even smarter than that, they come inside  to say hi and invariably I invite them to have a meal with me. Once I had a case when after meal boy got 500 to pay his off fee  and was asked to come to my hotel at such and such time.

In short , it pays to pay an attention to one's surroundings

I never had a guy coming inside to say hi. I definitely will invite them to dinner. They are always in a hurry because they are late for work!

But I know of a forum member who comes across guys buying groceries at Foodland supermarket at 1am after they end work. If it had been me, I would happily pay for their groceries!

I always found that the groceries in that supermarket were on the pricey side, I am surprised the boys shop there - or is it the convenience factor of always open and close?

It's most convenient market open at that time. Next closest would be Big C at Samyan Mitrtown.
