A few heartening interviews and articles about ascendant moderate Democrats:

 

I absolutely love every moment of that interview.   Particularly the part where Rahm states that the tens of millions of Americans who were screwed by globalization or left behind have every right to be furious.   Of course, when he runs for POTUS he will also argue that these Trump voters have every right to be furious at Trump for trying to take their Obamacare away in 2017.  And (possibly) taking their Medicaid away in 2025 to pay for Elon Musk's tax cuts.  The insolent stupid pig Donald "Judas" Trump is way more stupid than Rahm.

And I love it that Rahm attacks Democrats as too weak and too woke, and Trump as a corrupt man guilty of betrayal.  Trump is the Judas of America.  Betraying the working class that trusted him, betraying democracy, betraying Ukraine, and empowering Putin and Xi.   I still have high hopes our stupid POTUS pig will find his sorry ass in jail before his destructive and narcissistic life ends.

Compared to Rahm, our handsome Kentucky country boy comes off like a pussy cat:

And refocus it on the working class and away from culture wars.

Rahm did an amusing and entertaining interview with Jon Stewart the other nite on Comedy Central......

He's a smart guy "with a twist".......   Quite endearing in this particular exchange with Stewart....   Its nice when "intelligent people" speak.   I had forgotten how that sounded since listening to the imbecilic Trump speak 24/7.  

I hope HE becomes more visible ?

We have an abundance of riches in Guvs. And Newsom, Whitmer, Shapiro, or Moore, to name four, are probably more likely to be able to unify the party than Rahm or Andy. 

But who knows?   I don't think it's possible to guess yet what voters will be in the mood for after four full years of this train wreck.   But it won't be Trump.

Who Knows ?    As of today, the media spin is that Trump is a HERO for saving the economy by REVERSING the tariffs that sent the World into a tail spin, THAT HE CAUSED !

There is not an act or situation that this crook and conman wont SPIN his way out of,  and the public is eating his shit.....   His supporters today are BELIEVING that HE SAVED the World.  

Bottom line and TRUTH is the Strongman CAVED, because his billionaire bros TOLD him to because THEY were getting hurt.   Once Musk turned on him,  his tariff game was OVER.

BUT, as of TODAY, stocks plunge again as uncertainty over Trumps PLAN remain.....  Trump has NO plan, he's just doing whatever crazy shit idea pops into his head that he thinks will get Headlines.  His goal is always to stay front and center in the media, and dominate the news cycles.... He knows his base will stick with him no matter what.  They have shown him that.   As for everyone else, he doesnt care, although he IS sensitive to the needs and wants of his billionaire bros, who talked him out of the Tariff tailspin yesterday because THEY didnt like what was happening to THEM.   

And while we are at it talking about stocks,  someone needs to INVESTIGATE Trumps role in the Inside Trading scheme he seems to have orchestrated yesterday, and WHO ended up making billions from his crazy roller coaster tariff stunt ?

The idea of the "toxic Democrat" is in some ways paradoxical.  Corporate media allowed Nancy Pelosi to be painted as ultra toxic.  Yet wasn't she what the Democratic Party needed with President King Baby?  She stood up to him.  Now that she is no longer Speaker, the Dems appear to be rolling over.   She was a great Speaker IMO.  What was so bad about her?  Trump just hates when a smart woman confronts him.

 

The Dems have made plenty of toxic decisions over the years, for example Biden ramrodding Uncle Thomas's Supreme Court selection and allowing Anita Hill to be disgraced.  Biden sponsored the 1994 crime bill that led to mass incarcerations, expansion of the private prison system, and widespread corruption in local law enforcement.  Did that ultimately lead to the BLM mishegoss?   

How can the Dems be so stupid?

Welp, no one is perfect.  Look at Gavin Newson.  He married that loudmouth ho, Kimberly Guilfoyle.  Shit happens.

But it's the GOP playbook that paints the Dems as toxic.  The corporate media has been complicit in that, how they propagate GOP lies about Democrats and the trans community, about women's health care, birtherism and so on.  When Trump warns how the Democrats would allow little Johnny to leave for the school day and suffer the school nurse cutting off his penis, corporate media says nothing.  

Do the Democrats need to realize better ways to manage third rail topics such as wokism and DEI.  After all, the GOP is just turning us against each other.  Wokism and DEI are part of the GOP's toxic playbook.  

I'm not confident how Democrats confessing they are toxic, unpopular losers will help. 

So, how can the Democrats create a new, winning image without inviting the libtards from blowing it all up like they did to Hillary.  Full disclosure, I preferred Bernie over Hillary but no way would I vote for 🍊.  But it isn't people like me the Democrats should focus on, to start winning.

The Democrats need a new language and broad strategy.  They need to become clever.

They also need younger candidates.
