Olddaddy Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Talking to a straight farang in Pattaya,he mentioned that when you buy a Lady drink 🍷you don't need to "tip" them for time, unlike most of us do when buying a boy drink at a bar So you buy a boy a drink at a beer bar ,you sit with him for say 15 minutes, how much do you tip? I usually give 50 baht in Pattaya if I'm not groping their dicks ,if I am then it's more I have no idea how long you get with the lady drink though but no tip is expected in ladybars ,maybe the drink is a higher price? No. The lady drink in ladybars is low. At Soi Cowboy, its between 240 to 300 baht. The ladies don't expect additional 100 baht tips but customers are welcome to give. I believe the reason for low drinks price is because there are many bars and many ladies. Its very competitive. vinapu 1 Quote

Four drinks in Toy Boys, for example, was in excess of 1,000 baht. Nice Boys in Sunee Plaza was also around 300 baht. Jomtien boy drinks were still in the 150 baht range. Notwithstanding those prices, if a boy comes to sit with me for a drink and makes an effort to flirt and engage with me, then I usually give them a tip (usually 100 baht) in addition when I leave; more if there was any hands-on activity between us. I can understand why so many now choose to take the risk and find their boys on the Apps., when you can actually spend more money looking for the right boy, than actually paying the lad for sex later! vinapu Posted Tuesday at 03:10 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:10 AM drink prices in that bar opposite BBB in Boyztown ( Pikky? , Pikketty ? ) are certainly reasonable at 100 something . I tip 100 for company , if discreet molestation is included than 200-300 depending of what and how long. If I take boy off subsequently , then no tip. Olddaddy and Vessey 1 1 Quote

Yes Pikky Bar is probably the cheapest in BTown, but I think the boy drinks are more expensive than customer drinks (in Toy boys they are the same I think - equally expensive!). And while Pikky is a good place to sit out front and watch the world pass by, it also seems to be a retirement home for money boys past their prime! 🤣 Although one or two gems to be found vinapu and Rent Boy 2 Quote

Drink for boy in Pikkybar is 200. I wouldn't call that reasonable in a hostbar with dressed boys. Normal price in Jomtien complex for that is 150. And for any lady in the bars all around Pattaya it is 130-150 baht. Olddaddy, Rent Boy, vinapu and 1 other 1 3 Quote
Olddaddy Posted Wednesday at 04:44 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:44 AM It's too expensive especially for expats living there . No way could I afford to go out every night in the Jomtien complex buying drinks and boy drinks Quote

It is the same when you are back in your home country (after being in Thailand on a vacation (less than 1 month) or as a seasonal [ seasonal is someone who stays here for 4 to 5 months ] that you cannot go out every night to drink, off the local guys in your home country and/or get massages every day. So, when you make Thailand your permanent home country to live in - you adjust your lifestyle to be in line with the constraints of your monthly pension. Also, if you go out every night - then everything becomes boring, mundane, and not exciting. So, for me 2 to 3 times each week is enough for budgeting purposes and also to hope that there might be a surprise in the entertainment for that night and not be boring and mundane - to avoid the ugliness of the local bar mantra = "farang sit - farang drink"...... floridarob, Vessey and vinapu 3 Quote

Travellerdave Posted Thursday at 05:59 AM Posted Thursday at 05:59 AM My experience of boy tips pretty well echos that of Vessey who has made three posts in this thread . The purpose for me in visiting gogos, bars and cabarets (mostly in the Complex recently) is to engage an attractive boy or very occasionally two boys for longtime activities in my room. If I off the boy I would not usually tip him in addition to buying boy drinks. No off it would depend on how intimate the encounter had been. In a Gogo, such as Winner, if I had my hands on his cock or tongue kissed the tip would be 200+, whereas in a Complex bar , minus cock play 100+. I’m not an expat rather a gay sex tourist, and visit Pattaya for only 3 weeks at a time, I believe I’m generous, and sometimes throw caution to the wind when it comes to boys and money, spoiling them for long term residents perhaps. Long term residents have ample opportunity, not afforded to us , 3 week visitors, to built up service providers database at discounted price owing to repeated business. In days of 1000 baht short time tips while walking with boy to hotel we met some farang on the street who said ' see you tomorrow " to the boy" who subsequently told me he goes to fuck him regularly twice a week , I forgot which days, for 500 baht each time . I suspect this day similar arrangements can be made with boy special. floridarob 1 Quote

bkkmfj2648 Posted Friday at 04:57 AM Posted Friday at 04:57 AM Had an interesting experience last night. We went to the Jomtien Complex (aka Supertown) Candy Bar Games Night. My Thai boyfriend won the preliminary Jenga Tumbler round and he was challenged to the final round with the other finalist, a jovial farang guy. Well, like that tower that fell in Bangkok during the earthquake - the table that the Jenga Tumble block was sitting on was struck (by what looked like the farang guy who was competing with my boyfriend) during the moment that my boyfriend was removing one of the Jenga blocks and it all came crashing down. Consequently, the 2.000 baht was awarded by the Candy Bar to the farang guy - but he made a very kind scene and awarded that 2.000 baht to my boyfriend in a romantic kind of way..... Was I jealous - a little bit - but my boyfriend had his eyes on my face (as I was recording the scene) during that romantic interface with the farang..... So, "tipping the boys" can come in many flavors and gestures..... vinapu and floridarob 2 Quote
