Vachu Cruising Bar

New entrant to the Medellín scene in late 2024, this place has found a following among locals looking for some easy relief.

Vachu is a bar, but features a glory hole room, dark room and a mirrored sex room within it’s facilities. Occasional theme nights, but this bar is really about cruising and getting off on premise (similar to Cali's men's clubs).

The biggest crowds shows up after work, as the bar opens at 6pm weeknights. The nearby university helps keep the punters younger, but the crowd is mainly professionals from nearby Laureles and Belén neighbourhoods.  The set up is perfect for cruising and getting off in the back rooms, although some nights the crowd gets a little more heated. Recommended hitting  this place up during or after the local Nacionales futbol team plays. Lot's of stress relief or celebrations seem to happen afterward.

The bar is open until 4am Friday and Saturday nights.

Location

Calle 33 #74b-50

-            Located slightly west of where Avenida 33 crosses over Avenida Nutibara. Bar entrance is on Avenida 33 (at Transversal 39A)

-            Walk west past the formal wear store until you see the black staircase. Go up those stairs to the door on the second floor – this is the entrance

     Hours

     Weeknights 6pm - 2am   Weekends-Holidays  2pm - 4am

Thank u yet again for all your research and sharing.

Awww, thank you. I think I have been pretty open that I spend an extended period of each year in Medellín, so am tuned into the the scene here, which changes frequently.

I want to share what is not usually found on Google search about what the local scene here is really like, beyond the usual suspects located in El Poblado and Laureles.  The action here is much more diverse, however as a predominantly Catholic country, there are still some challenges to prominence and longevity of gay-positive spaces.

I will continue to add the ones that appear to be here for the long-term so more people can experience what is happening in this very vibrant city. Enjoy.
