The award was presented at a ceremony held earlier this year, reinforcing Thailand’s reputation as a top global destination for LGBTQ+ travelers. Deputy government spokesman Anukool Pruksanusak stated that the award reflects Thailand’s welcoming and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ tourists.
