Well luckily Siem Reap isn’t a destination that really invites you to visit multiple times. It’s growing, sure, but when you’ve seen it, there’s not much else.

Pubs, nightlife, restaurant scene, it’s all better elsewhere. If you like smoothie bowls and avocado toast, maybe you’ll find your place in a cafe owned by foreigners, but even then you’d probably go to Bali for your yoga retreat instead.

Coupled with their USD currency and one singular attraction that draws people in, it’s not even that cheap… although the hotels are impeccable, but they are in Phnom Penh too.

Siem Reap I won’t visit again, Phnom Penh I will. If you’re travelling with a partner it may be different. Shame too because there are hot khmer guys everywhere! Just not available.

What you get instead is a chubby, uneducated 22 year old with bad skin and a 3” dick telling you they might like you if they had a new iPad.

I'm a decent looking guy, below the age of 40, in shape and very approachable. So it’s not a matter of being repulsive or rude. It’s just what it is.

I'm in good mood today so wont comment on Atlas vs Angkor Wat comparison. By the way Ta Som and Banteay Samre are my favorite temples in the area beaten only by walk atop of walls circling Angkor Thom sacred city with Bayon at the center even if Angkor Wat remains most impressive structure there.

or you can go for an Airbnb, especially in PP. There plenty of new towers in there to choose from, and some of them even offer daily housekeeping service, which resolves one of the weakest points of choosing an Airbnb imo (it feels so good to have new sheets and towels when you get back from lunch after having fun with a local twink).

Never had any questions asked about bringing visitors and I had guys come and go from my room even at 3-4 AM and sometimes more than one guy at the same time😃

Btw, is phone snatching really a problem in PP? I first heard it from A Japanese friend this January while I was telling him I had a better time that expected in PP in December and planned to go again there by the end of the month. He mentioned that PP is quite famous phone snatching and that the police usually just let it go. I was quite surprised because it felt very safe both times in PP. I always thought that among the big cities in Southeast Asia this kind of things happen only in HCMC or Manila.
