HCMC bans Airbnb-like short-term lease of residential apartments

Wonder how strict they are going to enforce it, even though the one I usually stay at when in HCMC is both an hotel and apartment, so might escape the ban. If they are really serious in enforcing it , I'm sure it will keep some people away from visiting.

I will pray that they do not implement this ban in Da Nang - as I want to rent any of those many hi-floor amazing AirBnB condos that are directly on the sea with AMAZING views.
