Popular Post vinapu Posted March 12 Author Popular Post Posted March 12 Day 10 My flight to Krabi was at noon so I took my luggage with me to Foodland and straight from there I went to Swampy. At Krabi airport I took van for 90 baht and luckily I was 1st passenger who alighted from it after perhaps 20 minutes of ride. My hotel was named Riverview and indeed only street separated me from river and I had nice view of the river from my window. strange logic, smoking in the room prohibited but ash tray provided What fascinated me the most were mangroves as it was first time I had occasion to see them from up close – ban opposite of the city is practically mangrove forest. Some people advised me to stay on tourist ghetto of Ao Nang few kilometers away but my preference was city and it was smart choice. Rest of day I spent wandering about the city and splurged on ‘early bird “ tour of the famous Phi Phi Island , Maya Beach and other islands. Promise was ‘beat the crowds” with start at 6 am. So I decided to splurge 2800 to join. While expensive I saw offerings for the same as high as 3500 in other places , among others in my own hotel . I visited no less than 3 night markets including one with Chinese theme as in few days we will have Chinese New Year. Knowing I need to wake up at 5.30 I went to bed bit earlier than normally. Popular Post vinapu Posted March 12 Author Popular Post Posted March 12 Day 11 Anxious to see famous Phi Phi Island and even more famous Maya Bay with addition of beating the crowds I woke up at 5.30, spruced up , made a tea and at 5.50 parked myself in front of hotel hoping I wont wait too long. Indeed I did not. Car came at 6 on the dot I was treated to car ride as it turned out I was only boat passenger from Krabi Town, rest were Ao Nangers. On joining the rest I learned that my driver was no one less than owner of tour company and I was given ride in his own car. That is proper client service I thought. No only we started early but also our boat was speedboat , no wonder it cost that much but with 7 islands on the schedule it was good option. At 7 we were already on the water. I thought our first stop will be most popular place i.e. Maya Bay to beat the crowds indeed but no, we stopped at other island where we were treated with quite lavish breakfast at beautiful setting . Then off for short stop at two micro islands joined by strip of sand and finally off to Maya Bay . Breakfast setting : our speadboat It was past 9 and forget about ‘beat the crowds” part. Beach itself is beautiful indeed, swimming is prohibited, one can wade into water up to ankles but mass of humanity made visiting more chore than pleasure. I even saw few baby sharks in the water and noticed that we people are really herd animals as ¾ of visitors crowded part of beach close to the entry while part further away was quite pleasantly less populated. I even spotted one very handsome specimen of tourist and followed him for a while out of sheer visual pleasure, judge for yourself. Isn't Maya Bay beautiful ? Crowds to get back to the boat were insane, we wait perhaps 30 minutes in line just to board. Next stop was supposed to be famous Phi Phi Don island and my expectancy was as high her fame. First we were invited for a lunch to one of many restaurants lining beach, while also crowded food was good and I noted that on this tour today they feed us very well, other than beer there was no need to buy any snacks or drinks as what they provided was more than sufficient. Then we had time to survey the realm and let me tell you I was not disappointed with such famous place. Indeed I was fucking disappointed like shit with that poster boy of overdeveloped tourist trap, sorry my language but that’s the best I can do even now , 6 weeks after actually being there. Setting may be beautiful but narrow strip in the middle flanked by beached on both sides is nothing but overbuilt horror crowded with hordes looking at overpriced souvenirs and drinking even more overpriced drinks. After visiting Phi Phi now I consider Patong on Phuket pristine and unspoiled destination. Some may disagree but my point is , if one can avoid visiting Phi Phi, don’t go and give island some breathing space. On course I tasted some swimming on the beach so I can boast about been there , done that but it was low point. Honestly , no idea what is the pull of place making it so popular. Next stop was Bamboo Island where we had 1 hour for swimming and by way Chicken Island we returned to Ao Nang at end of day. Chicken Island : Despite being disappointed with Phi Phi and tired with crowds at Maya Bay I still consider that 2800 well spent. Tour was organized well, they could do what they could to show us what was scheduled. Whole ;’’beat the crowds” thing did not materialize but I was not disappointed for simple reason- I did not believe that part from the start. If one wants to beat the crowds at may beach only option is to hire private boat and set off there as early as possible without any stops on the way. Even that may not succeed. While beautiful I still thing doing our part for mother Earth is leaving Maya Bay alone. I got again car ride to hotel , not private this time as two people from other tour joined in . In hotel I realized I’m quite tired but that did not stop me from wandering around the city. Tomorrow complete change of scenery. 10tazione, ichigo, FunFifties and 10 others 12 1 Quote

Popular Post vinapu Posted March 13 Author Popular Post Posted March 13 Day 12 Yesterday was the sea, today I’m climbing mountain, to be specific Tiger Cave Temple . While Tiger cave in on ground level , to reach the temple atop of mountain one must climb no less than 1260 steps . Rising up i knew it will be beautiful day : Temple is half way between Krabi town and the airport and it’s well visible owing to golden Buddha statue atop glistening in the sun. To get there I took tuk-tuk , 100 baht. I started early to avoid the heat and at 8.15 am, after paying some token admission fee , I started climb which turned out to be very serious undertaking. So serious that at 2/3 , around step # 800 I had moment of giving up but there was rest area where I caught my breath and carried bravely .As always on top , once we get there we forget about climb and start awing at beautiful view from there. It was definitely crowning moment of this trip. I had chat with Polish family about sights we did and plan to do, Told them to avoid Phi Phi if they can, they told me the same about Railay beach and suggested I take tour of Hong islands tomorrow, adding that better than morning is option of afternoon sunset tour. While getting there was hard every climber knows that often going down is even more strenuous stressing joints and knees but somehow for me it turned to be breeze. On ground level I visited Tiger Cave and started looking for transportation to the city. Taxi driver wanted 300 and tuk-tuk driver 200. Keeping in mind that I paid 100 coming here and basking in pleasant weather I armed myself with can of Chang and decided to walk toward main road, about 1 km away hoping to catch something there. After 2 or 3 minutes tuk-tuk stopped with young French couple and they invited me to join them aboard. Vive la France! While in the city I went to the same place I bought “beat the crowds’ , he, he , he , tour and bought Hong island sunset tour as advised. 2400. After lunch I got bright idea to rent a boat and take a tour of river I’m admiring from my window day and night. Guy wanted 900 for 2 hrs , but accepted my offer of 800 and off we went along mangroves toward Krabi iconic guardian hills. It turned one that there’s substantial cave inside one which looks like tilted so I explored her as well. From there he suggested we go to fish farm which was nothing special other than option of buying dinner., I opted for fish soup which was tasty but bit too spicy for my palate. But at least I chalked it off. Since guy was not in rush and after dinner still gave me tour of some channels and 2 hrs become 2.5 so I gave him 1100 which he visibly appreciated but it was worth it. I never was sea , sun and sand person and today , spent in the mountains and on the river was true highlight of my trip . Certainly it was great idea to stay in the city , not Ao Nang like few people advised me. I finished such fruitfully spent day with mango pancake at the night market and when about to go to bed had that thought that having somebody beside would be great idea. But since I decided to be celibate I checked Grindr offerings in Silom and sighted going to bed alone . TMax, reader, ggobkk and 8 others 11 Quote
Popular Post vinapu Posted March 14 Author Popular Post Posted March 14 Day 13 Since I opted to sunset trip to Hong Islands I have morning free and decided to visit fishing village opposite of Krabi town. Another great idea. Peacefull and serene and only few minutes , 10 baht boat ride from busy city. It strongly reminded me village where I spent my vacation at my grandparents farm to a point that I started feeling bit emotional. Krabi river: toward the sea: and a village: If I ever return to Krabi that will be my first place to go for in-depth exploration. Often otherwise unremarkable places are treating us with enlightening what sense of travel is all about. I returned the same way , by local boat. I was supposed to be picked up by tour people at 11.30 but they arrived 45 minutes late when I started wondering if there’s some screwup and even called lady who sold me that trip asking what is going on. Fortunately from now on all went very well. On Hong island I climbed impressive view point, then took ecological path where I spotted monitor lizards and even had time to get wet in the sea. Glad I took that advice to take that trip. few pics from up high on Hong island : On next island we got a supper / dinner , quite tasty and sufficient although I noticed few people from our group overloaded their plates and did not eat it all wasting quite a lot of food and did not even bother to clean after themselves leaving that job to a guide and other tourists. Some people should never be released from their leashes. For actual sunset we relocated to other island where swimming was difficult due to sharp stones but view was spectacular. After dark there was an opportunity to swim in water with fluorescent plankton . All in all , again I was very happy with advice to visit Hong Islands, screw Phi Phi and their hordes. It was probably 9 when I finally got to my hotel , enough time to buy banana pancake on night market to celebrate my fourth celibate night in Krabi. Popular Post vinapu Posted March 15 Author Popular Post Posted March 15 Day 14 Time to return to civilization or, since my destination is Pattaya, to a bit of civilization. In the morning I went to survey local wat, white temple towering over center. On the grounds they have nice exposition showing history of Buddhism , I found it very interesting. Then returned to hotel , packed little I have and found myself on the road again. Catching 100 baht tuk-tuk to the airport was easy and I was there well before time, soon found that I have even more of it since plane was late 1 ½ hr. Security confiscated my deodorant which was surprising considering they did not have problem with it in Swampy when I was flying to Krabi. Oh , well. Reading forum I noticed unwelcomed news – due to local election there’s prohibition in Pattaya today , no alcohols sales and presumably no bars opened. Landed in BKK at 4.30 pm. and closest bus they had was 6.30 to Jomtien and at 7 to North Pattaya Bus station so it looks good part of day today I spent waiting in airports. I went to coupon, now card restaurant by the Gate 8 to eat something. Now they have cards they can preload with any amount we wish and unused amount is promptly refunded. Very efficient. Killing time I also checked capsule rooms near train station , past the money exchange booths. Not exactly cheap at 600 for 2 hrs but still handy for those who need to catch early flight without worrying about catching the taxi in middle od the night . This time I decided to solve permanent problem were to stay , in Pattaya or Jomtien by meeting both options mid way and opted for Zing hotel by Pratamnak hill , mid way between both. Do not mistake it with Zing Resort in Jomtien Complex. We always pass by it but almost never read reports from people staying there and I must say , I liked it. By time I get there and spruced up it was past 9.30. I caught songtaew toward Boyztown but as expected all bard were dead closed. Only venue in Boyztown opened was Paradise massage with few attractive guys outside including Wit , veteran there. I noticed that he starts to develop bit of size. When commented about it he retorted that it’s because I did not use his services for so long ( I did last year though) . There were just 2 freelancers in completely empty Boyztown proper. So I decided to see how are things in Jomtien Complex hoping Dik’s will be opened because I had cravings for chicken with cashews, what else. Popular Post vinapu Posted March 16 Author Popular Post Posted March 16 Day 15 I did not get room with breakfast but it can purchased on reception for 189 and it’s extremely good value. I was surprised with array of dishes , from Western to Asian in great variety for such paltry sum. And it was very busy, no wonder. I feel lazy this morning but around 11 am phone buzzed, some Line message. I checked and surprise, N the masseur I did not see and did not hear from for more than year. Either he saw me passing by Jomtien Complex with z909 or somebody told him I’m in Pattaya. 7 days celibacy is about to be broken as I can’t deny myself such reunion, we met several times already. Asked him when he can come , answer was right away and 5 minutes later there was message “ I’m in your hotel , where you are ?”. Of course he went to wrong Zing, one in Jomtien even if I clearly told him in writing which Zing and where he should go. In few more minutes I saw him alighting from motorsai and we rushed to embrace. I noticed that his once steely muscles are quite soft now , at least he did not pick up any body fat (yet ?). Nobody on reception even blinked, only cleaning lady smiled broadly, no doubt silently congratulating my choice. I noticed previously girls like N. Who would bother with massage on such occasion ? we opted for joyful fun instead. Yes , friend from his shop told him somebody like me passed by with farang last night, it’s why he digged my contact and messaged me to make sure. After about 2 hrs. we parted ways, me going to bus station in Jomtien to buy ticket for tomorrow. Then I decided to do some sightseeing in Pattaya so went to Pattaya Night Market on Second Road, bought shirt and had lunch there , then to Central Festival Mall and along Bitch Road down to Boyztown and then Sunee- very deserted but kept clean. After all it was still day time. Then to hotel to welcome sunset in roof top pool. Zing has two pools, one behind the building and another on smaller on the roof. Having choice between Jomtien and Boyztown my heart took me to the later. At Pikkety I ordered beer and noticed kind if familiar, smiling face so I invited him for a drink. Soon source of familiarity was revealed , guy used to work in Copa as receptionist. Quite flirty and after hour or so of talking I even shamelessly stole kiss from him. We could have something but I had other plans so tipped him 100 for his time and 200 for that kiss and went to Dreamboys hopping #36 whom I saw 3 times in August will be there or if not #37 known to me from May trip. Unfortunately neither one was present and to make things worse, #36 was already assigned to somebody else. Not seeing anybody equally hot I finished my drink and crossed soi to XBoys just in time for show to start . as one would expect on Saturday night bar was completely full. I got some seat by the door and it was actually quite good viewing point. I watched whole sexy show and at the end tipped A, guy I offed few times in the past and owner of very sizable tool . He not only recognized me but also planted a juicy kiss on me . How sweet. Having such good time at Piketty I should return there but somehow went to ToyBoys . In August I saw very interesting specimen there and was hopping he will be still there but no, at least not at that time as it was almost midnight. Twinks are not my thing and nobody on the stage was offing material so I ordered beer just for that sake of supporting business. Beside me some ladyboy was sitting with 2 boys molesting them not exactly discretely, at least not from my position. Twinky guy beside her from my side at closer look seemed to be quite well built. I noticed he sport his number 17. In few minutes ladyboy left paying for drinks , not sure she even tipped boys for their troubles. Said twink turned professional and didn’t waste time , likely noticed that I had some interest in him and said he can go with me “ short time or long time if you want”. That’s the move ! As soon as I heard “long time ‘ , I was in, hungry of company after celibate week. Drink 300 , body nice , warm , firm and hairless, off fee 500 and expected long time tip as per their menu shown to me by mamasan was 3000. No, contrary to some recent reports, they did not want tip up front, quite opposite I was clearly told ‘ you pay this to boy in the room”. We travelled to Zing in style, anxious to see his stamp collection immediately I hired two motorsais at 80 each and in few minutes we were there. Again nobody even blink an eye. It was more romantic than steamy and after week long fast it was exactly what I wanted and boy sensed it right away. I made sure though to get my money worth and as result at 7 he asked me if he can go home to get some sleep, declined even breakfast invitation. I’m back to debaucheries I guess. I decided to try Freshboys tonight enthusiastically welcomed by one of their barkers , veteran of soi Twilight who raised his shirt tellingly inviting vinapu tuck which I was happy to oblige to. Bar was quite full but I lucked out as somebody was leaving and I got his seat just in front of the stage. Immediately I noticed familiar face of certain soi 6 masseur who obviously decided to change his occupation and try luck in go-go bar. It looked he did right move as not only I wasted no time to tip him but soon after he was called over by quite young and attractive customer and after a while they both left. I doubt Wat Hualampong was their destination. After watching beginning of show I decided to change scenery and try another bar I did not visit this trip – Jupiter. Off I went hoping certain guy there I’m eyeing for quite a while enforced by enthusiastic feedback of one of my most trusted forum friends will be there. Last few times I was in bar last year he did not seem to pay much attention to be but lust is list and I decided not to give up easily. Bar was super crowded but again it worked for me as I was squeezed in the seat at beginning of stage , right across cage where boys are seen changing . In short great viewing point. Guardian Angel sent helpful mamasan my way who when brought my drink asked which boy I like and I told him my dreamboy’s name. He did his laser thing and obviously guy nodded approvingly as soon he told be he will com after the show as he is in it. Alleluia, hurrah silently screamed I , finally at least ! During show at least mamasan confirmed arrangement and as soon as show finished my guy was right beside me. Primed by my friend I welcomed him by his name and told him I know where he is from and this was good move as it melted ice definitely. I knew it won’t be cheap but I made decision now or never so when it came to business I asked him about long time and was quoted astronomical 10 K. Gulp , I expected it to be high but not that much. Contrary to what one may think, I agreed. Long circling to finally put my hands on him over few trips and very good initial impression tonight made me thinking ‘go for it “ and I did. Soon we left, as always when LT is on the cards I asked about him being hungry , he said no but soon when we were passing some Issan restaurant on Silom he suggested ‘ lets eat something ” so we went . Order was not necessarily modest but food was tasty and we left nothing on our plates . I hate when guys order food and don’t eat what they order so I liked that clean plates. I the room all went better than expected and what I wanted, all I got. In the bar he told me he will be able to stay till 6 am only and it was quite impressive that he announced our time is over at 5.57 am exactly. Last hugs, fee dispensed and then I had time to reflect on the meeting. I finally hit my elusive goal and when comes to merit of meeting , I couldn’t ask and expect more, certainly professionally executed escort duties by long salivated about beauty. So I chalked it off as money well spent. Was it worth it ? Other than boosting my ego, probably no. Still a lot of money for just 6 hrs session . I can think of three guys equally greatly built but more personable. My guy did his best to do his job but there was one thing missing , that elusive spark. Will I be inclined to repeat him ? Yes , definitely, but not for that money. But I’ m happy I did not get stingy and did not waste that opportunity. I made it ! Goes without saying celibacy was ruined last night. ichigo, reader, FunFifties and 7 others 10 Quote
