Where is the justification for the DOGE actions? The website states justifications will be posted in the future, however, wouldn't they already have that documentation available since it would likely have been needed to make a decision for their action? You don't think they're using the "READY FIRE AIM" approach, do you? And why do you suppose there are links on the website for additional details that takes the user to Musk's 'X' platform, which then requires one to register on that platform? Should a government website be promoting a privately held company? stevenkesslar 1 Quote

Should a government website be promoting a privately held company?  And WHY did DOGE instruct USAID to shred and destroy all documentation recovered in its elimination ? Could it be that the documentation, mostly financial records, would prove NO waste or abuse was found.?  The departments obliteration was done at the whim of Musk, who is desperately searching for "coins in the cushions" to justify and cover the massive tax cuts Trump wants to pass for him and his billionaire boys.  Its all a SCAM on the people, and Trumps newest BIG LIE.  . stevenkesslar 1 Quote

Should a government website be promoting a privately held company? This is Reagan 2.0, without the political power of Reagan. The whole game back then was they were only cutting "waste, fraud, and abuse" from programs.  So Democrats kept asking where is the waste, fraud, and abuse?  The Reaganomics who wanted to cut taxes for the rich always said it existed, but they never found it. Here's the thing.  Reagan did win in a landslide. Twice. Trump did win twice. But the first time was only because the US was a slave nation, so we have this fucked up thing called the electoral college. That is why Trump won in 2016. He lost the popular vote by millions in 2016.  Okay, so he won the popular vote in 2024. But not by much. Not even a majority. So he has no real mandate, other than to lower prices.  And he ain't doing that. Which is why his approval rating is dropping like a knife already. Maybe our yapping dog is trying to hide that fact by barking incessantly, and uselessly. Quote

Since taking office on January 20, 2025, President Donald Trump has taken several significant actions regarding the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA): Initiated an overhaul: Trump has begun the process of reshaping FEMA, engaging in discussions with Republican congressional leaders about the agency's approach to assisting states1. Issued an executive order: Trump established a 20-member commission to review FEMA and propose ways to overhaul its work. This council is tasked with releasing a report comparing FEMA's response to various natural disasters with state responses3. Proposed shifting responsibility: Trump has suggested moving disaster response duties from FEMA to individual states, recommending that "FEMA go away" and the federal government pay a percentage directly to states for disaster management3. Appointed new leadership: Trump named Hamilton, a former Navy officer and unsuccessful congressional candidate from Virginia, as the interim administrator of FEMA1. Criticized FEMA's performance: Trump has publicly criticized FEMA, stating that "FEMA is getting in the way of everything" and calling the agency "not good"13. Threatened to withhold aid: Trump has indicated he might withhold aid from certain states, particularly California, based on their policies and disaster management approaches1. Approved disaster declarations: Despite his criticisms, Trump has continued to approve major disaster declarations for states in need, such as West Virginia5. These actions reflect Trump's stated goal of making the government "more efficient and effective" while potentially limiting the size and scope of federal involvement in disaster response3. So much for Trumps penchant for FREE SPEECH.... stevenkesslar 1 Quote
