Polish933 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Hey, I’ve seen conflicting information online - if my friend and I arrive in business class, do we get fast track immigration? Thank you in advance. Olddaddy 1 Quote
reader Posted February 24 Posted February 24 There was a discussion about this last Fall and some members reported that biz boarding pass was acceptable. I qualify for being 70+. Perhaps other members have recent experience. TMax and Polish933 1 1 Quote
TMax Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Last November I showed my business class boarding pass and they put me through fast track at immigration, I did arrive late at night so whether that had anything to do with it or not I don't know. reader 1 Quote

The separate immigration area signed Fast Track is no longer available to business class passengers. The AOT authority has a speedy line for business class passengers, but it is in the main immigration hall, not the separate entrance marked Fast Track. The line for business class passengers is named Priority Lane. Don't follow signs to Fast Track if you fly business class. Just enter the regular large immigration area. At the ramp, there will be an attendant. Just present your boarding pass, and the attendant will direct you to the Priority Lane at the far right. I did this when arriving at Suvarnabhumi last month, flying business class. I tell the attendant "business class", when presenting the boarding pass, to avoid confusion, as they are busy directing passengers. Once the attendant verifies your boarding pass, you will be directed to the Priority Lane at the far right of the main immigration hall. There were only three people ahead of me in line. Very quick entry, and if you flew business class, your checked bag should be among the first on the baggage claim belt. vinapu, reader, Olddaddy and 5 others 4 4 Quote
Members tm_nyc Posted February 25 Members Posted February 25 Works the same w/departures. The Priority Lane is down at the end of the terminal, past the regular Immigration entrance. Just show yor biz class ticket & they will let you in. Same-same for passengers +70. I just did it &, with the new automated Immigration kiosks, Security & Immigration checks take about 5 minutes. It's great! Olddaddy, PeterRS, Polish933 and 1 other 2 2 Quote

PeterRS Posted February 26 Posted February 26 @daydreamer is correct. Business class passengers entering the Kingdom have now to go to the main Immigration areas where there are Priority lanes. I have no idea how these work as, being over 70, I qualify for the special Fast Track lanes. These rarely have more than 2 or 3 people queueing at each desk and you get through quickly. Fast track is available to a number of groups including those over 70, Thailand Privilege members and others I cannot now recall. I'm not sure how the Priority Lanes look if there are several aircraft arriving at more or less the same time. Presumably the queues would be longer than that experienced by @daydreamer jamiebee, daydreamer, TMax and 1 other 3 1 Quote

My experience is that the Priority Lanes are never really crowded. I suspect that many Business Class passengers are unaware of this particular perk so they queue up in the regular Immigration line. Yes I like business👨💼 class too Depends though , I prefer the flat bed seats and I say that because I once had Philippines Airlines 🇵🇭✈️Sydney to Manila July 2022 in a seat next to someone ,looked like Premium Economy 😮 seats only wider Have no idea what that flight was tm_nyc 1 Quote

They generally have good fares, very good service & excellent food but the 2-3-2 seat layout offers good legroom but very little privacy. Quote

Yes, Turkish Airlines still have old style seats in their older planes, including the planes they use Istanbul/Bangkok. tm_nyc 1 Quote
