They have chosen the worst political time to start a Kum-bay-ya with Republicans, and especially the MAGA breed..... Lets see, we have Gavin Newscum KiKi-ing with MAGA Steve Bannon, gigling like 2 sorority sisters, and then we have Chris Cuomo kanoodling with Tucker Carlson and doing some sick Bro thing. .... This is terrible optics for the party that we are looking to, to be the Opposition party, yet they seem too pathetic and feckless to be able to do that and meet the dangerous moment we are in.... Democrats have been a total let-down for me... from Hakeen Jeffries to Chuck Schumer. Its as if they KNOW we are fucked and decided to just wave the White Flag and let Amerika slide into Authoritarianism.... And many voters feel as I do. If the Dems dont get a grip and wake up from their 2024 loss Shock, they will be in greater shock from lack of public support come midterms. I will never forget getting political junk mail for Obama, who of course won. But also against the same sex marriage initiative in California, which of course narrowly lost, quoting Obama as being against same sex marriage. In fairness, he did not send out the mailers. But they quoted Obama in them, to undercut the same sex marriage side. And it worked. Many Gays and liberals view that as a judicial win. And it was, in that SCOTUS ultimately delivered a verdict. But even they were clear in interviews that they read the polls and saw where the public was headed. So I will always think of this as a massive grassroots victory of nobodys who poured their hearts out, and changed history. That is why we won, I think. The political leaders followed. Same way it has been on many other freedom and liberation issues. There is a quote from Jeb! that I love, and I think sums up the nature of the victory. There are not many polls now that show the generic Congressional ballot for 2026. One done in January by Trump's own pollster showed a dead heat between Democrats and Republicans. The two most recent ones both show Democrats in the lead, as Trump's "let's cut Medicaid" plans to reward his billionaire campaign donors like Elon Musk with tax cuts and political power play out. Trump is a rapist, a liar, a traitor, and an insolent pig. This is just going to get worse. He is a traitorous embarrassment to the US and the world. The anger and rage is only deepening by the day. So our deeply, pathetically stupid yapping dog and other Republicans out there really should be careful what they wish for. Because they are basically saying they are happy that many Democrats, not me, would love to see Chuck Schumer blow Trump's brains out. So that this traitorous, useless man had his shit brain splattered all over some wall, and America could move on. The rage is deep and just keeps growing. And poor Chuck Schumer just put himself in the path of it by doing something I thought was actually wise. Sorry, but Trump is in charge now.
