In a way that is convenient. If they had a two seat House majority they could for sure block a lot of the worst shit. But they don't. So whether they are falling for it, or simply powerless, is a moot point. The power to block lies at the state level, with Governors, and some Democrats are using it. The more important point is that Trump is playing a game, NOT governing. The insolent pig's approval ratings are tanking.
