I won't post the interview, because he is as boring as me and the idea is simple. Larry Summers is making the rounds of legacy media saying the chances of a recession have gone up from maybe 10 % to close to 50 %. And he says unless Trump changes course, things will get worse. One way or the other, bad shit is happening and going to grow. And Trump and MAGA will own it. And the polls reflect that already. It will be ironic, in a way, if that happens. My own nagging doubt about my hero Allan Lichtman last year was that the polls kept saying a lot of people feel like we are in a recession. Even though we are not. I think Lichtman just missed that, or misread it. So it will be ironic, and tragic, if Trump won by promising to lower prices during a recession that did not exist. And in his first year or so he raises prices and fires lots of people who voted for him, and brings on a recession. Quote
