Guest Yaya Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 We have been getting a lot of emails and phone calls from returning customers and new tourists regarding the status of the flooding etc. in and around the airport and Pattaya. Much of the media both in Thailand and Internationally is incomplete, confusing and scary. So, in order to get some good info to our soon-to-be-arriving friends, we have made up a small network of "eyes and ears on the ground" to give us reports. YaYa will be posting these peiodically (a minimum of daily) on the website: www.yaya-sunee.com FLOOD REPORT is located on the homepage, bottom left. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Here is the latest from my "eyes and ears" on the ground.... 20 October - 11:35 a.m Pattaya: Variable clouds with 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms.. No flood. Bars, beach, hotels, and restaurants open. Boys working. Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport: Fully operational. Cloudy. (Online flight status: http://www.bangkokai...ne.com/node/129) Bangkok Silom, Sathorn, Suriwong area: No flooding. Sunny. All bars, hotels and restaurants open. Boys working. Regular updates are posted on my homepage, bottom left, "FLOOD REPORT" http://www.yaya-sunee.com Hope this helps my soon-to-arrive inquiring customers. Quote
