The effects of drugs in gay community's

I live in a large Gay area in Australia 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

I was just talking to a young Asian guy tonight who I met on  Grindr though we didn't have sex he spoke about how the gay community 🏳️‍🌈 here are the biggest users of drugs, "it's great " he said ,telling me one makes you dance all night at the White party he went to in Bangkok and another called G makes him so horny and cannabis makes him laughing

As cannabis is legal in Thailand he mentioned that it was great to use for sex ,I have never tried drugs before except poppers and Viagra etc

I don't smoke so is it benefit you sexually have you found

What about this sexual drug G ,what exactly does that do ?dance💃🕺

I'm not asking you guys if you personally take this stuff but I'm wondering more about the legal one called Cannabis 🌲🏝️🚬

As for the others called G I don't think it's sounds safe especially if your elderly but apparently it makes you extremely horny on fire 🔥 🔥 🔥??.?

I am tempted but at my age who knows what it could do ?😮

Even poppers I noticed a heart pain and throat dryness and bronchitis

Have any of you experimented when you were younger ?

. Also “party and play” or PNP.

This is another quote I see on Grindr profile a lot ,along with the word "wired" ...

Common sex drugs would be T (Crystal Meth), G (GHB) and some use K (Ketamine.) T is the biggest and indactors of a user are the party emoji, red ballon, ice cube, snowflake, freezing emoji and a host of others. If they ask “do you party?” It’s referring to these drugs. Also “party and play” or PNP.

Thanks for this, I was wondering what those emojis actually mean in some of the guys profiles. Good to know, helps avoid accidentally joining their sessions due to ignorance. 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Or G. I only take alcohol,  but know of a number of deaths from G.

Don't forget the plane ✈️and injection 💉 emoji also

A Cambodian friend of mine that worked JC died before Christmas from an overdose after injecting crystal meth

I would really love to see the police do a sting and sweep of everyone on the apps who is openly advertising the sale and/or use of these drugs. Considering that these people are openly advertising their criminal activity, it would be a very easy thing to do. The only reason that they haven't is because it will lead to screams of "homophobia" by the drug users and the "I can shoot a rainbow out of my arse" brigade. The lack of enforcement has allowed this scourge to become embedded in the gay scene, with devastating effect. It is time for a crackdown - a global crackdown. The owners of the apps who are allowing this to flourish on their platforms ought to be arrested and the apps ought to be seized. The dealers ought to be traced, which should be easy enough given the electronic links and conversation records. Time for a crackdown. Those who will screech about this being homophobic are the biggest danger to the well-being of men on the gay scene.

HNH is another one, 'sex with drugs'.

I don't currently know anyone who uses recreational drugs. Do you?

None of my friends, and I try to make sure that my regular escorts are drug free. You can't be certain,  but you can ask! One of my long standing regulars was given a date rape drug at a party, unbeknown to him, rohypnol or similar, and it pushed him into psychosis, from which he has not fully recovered.

PS. My regulars tell me that drug use, of all types, is indeed wide-spread in the gay world in London. Not just escorts, but also their clients. Perhaps  nor surprising.

Of course not surprising. No wife and no mother in law to keep watchful eye on them.

My regulars  also tell me that they are often pressurised by clients to take drugs. They arrive, usually  to a new client, and are told they are expected to take cocaine, crystal meth etc.

It’s good to be informed even if you have no interest in partaking. Being informed about what’s available and what’s common, you can notice the signs if your sexual partner is a user, they are not always honest.

It is nice to see someone giving good information.

I have experience (over 1 year+ perhaps 2) with sex drug, retired at 40, getting bored with the routine (Telephone bar, DJ etcetera) fall in it pretty heavy (perhaps 2 times a week)…

15 years ago this was not main stream..and i am certain some of you want to know what i tried: Main was T (ice / meth) smoke only, Foxy, K (ketamine), GHB, E (ecstasy).

Sure sex is good but it is never perfect (and every little thing multiply x 100)… quality (drugs) went down greatly.. After a while I just stop, my experience was done!

Absolutely I do not regret it, learn a lot with myself and became wiser from it.. but it is very easy to take a bad turn or meet wrong people.

Now I am 67 - 100% healthy eater, rarely drink.

Talking about drugs, I recommend these mid-length Taiwanese film about drug use in Taipei's gay community (a city that from what I have heard the drug use in its gay community has epidemic proportions) The actors are really sexy.

Personally, I never done any drugs, including weed even though it's legal where I reside. I have been though to several group actions in different parts of Asia, Europe and N. America where people were consuming hard drugs, mostly the ones mentioned by @simcity in his post.

To be honest, the quality of sex has always been pretty mediocre in those kind of situations. The guys just can't concentrate and seem more preoccupied with their drug or going through their phone that what you actually doing with them and then there is always that smell of strong chemicals in the air that hits you as soon as you enter the place where people are consuming it.

My strategy is usually just looking for the guy I like the most, try to finish quickly with him and then pretty much just leave. It's very difficult holding a rational conversation with a bunch of people in that state.
