In just 2 short weeks Trump has threatened to use the US military to take over Greenland and the Panama Canal. Now he's planning to march in and take over Gaza.

I look forward to Bucky posting a tiktok showing Trump telling the world that he was going to be the president of peace, and that he deserved the Nobel Peace prize.

I also expect that the US will no longer criticise China's 9 dash line claiming sovereignty over the South China Sea. I mean, that would be hypocritical wouldn't it?

Mark Halperin has a polite way of calling Trump a liar.

He has said repeatedly that the first three letters in News are new.  So Trump is one of the hardest politicians in the world to cover.  Because Trump lies every time he opens his mouth. So what is new?

Haven't said it, so I will here.  Halperin nailed this race with his analysis far better than any other individual.  Including Ron Brownstein, who is still my favorite.   Brownstein did not guess anything wrong.  He is still brilliant.  But I think Halperin worked particularly hard to listen to, and understand, what was happening in this chaotic mess of an election.

That said, partly because he is a reporter and, I think, a cynic, Halperin seems to be far too willing to go along for the ride.  But he was right all along that, in the end, so are a lot of Americans who are not really fans of Trump.

Worth remembering when they decide they want something new and better.  Again.

Trump is all about Distraction, and I guess he just wanted to tease and distract US from noticing he and Musk raping and gutting the govt, so what better than a crazy idea to excommunicate poor persecuted Palestinians to build a luxury "play" resort for the Rich ? Now he'll put that idea back in his fat pants pocket for another time he needs us to  again !

And I agree about the bully thing, we have seen Trump back down every time he is pushed back on BUT its usually only when MAGAts start turning on him does he back away......Otherwise he will continue to push the limits of illegality because he knows Supreme Court is likely to support HIM, and make up reasons for the illlegal to become Legal FOR HIM.
