Bessent already handed over the Treasury payments system data to Musk, as @lookin posted on.  A massive and dangerous invasion of privacy that Musk will use to do more dumb shit and hurt more innocent people.

I wonder if he will go three for three.  If there is some big corrupt scandal in Trump 2.0, my guess is this is where it festers and plays out.  Hedge funds.  Crypto.  It's the same sort of ingredients it took to build subprime and derivatives under W.  As former WSJ reporter Bethany McLean outlined in her famous books on subprime and Enron, you need arrogant people - almost always very rich White men - with huge egos who believe their shit doesn't stink. Oh Hun, while I appreciate your attempt to lighten up the mood,  NONE of this is funny.   Today the Dems are freaking out over Trump & Musks latest coup attempt, and holding pushback rallies with Maxine Waters..... There was an article in Politico today where Axelrod, Carville, and Rahm were all saying that Trump and Musk are baiting Democrats into publicly fighting for foreign aid.  The Republican that ran USAID under W., and helped get PEPFAR going to save the lives of millions of Africans with AIDS, thinks it is a tragedy.  But Axelrod and Rahm are right.  Most Americans have no idea how much we spend on foreign aid. Or why would we give a shit about Africans with AIDS?  I mean, it's not like a disease like AIDS could ever spread from Africa to the rest of the world, right?  So this is the way it is, and is going to be.  It's a pandemic of ignorance and cruelty.
