Last season they tried to take away their own voters' Obamacare and health protections in broad daylight, when everyone was watching.  So going after some obscure agency like the CFPB, or even some not-obscure agency like the FAA because they make Musk follow safety standards, is a piece of cake.

Bessent already handed over the Treasury payments system data to Musk, as @lookin posted on.  A massive and dangerous invasion of privacy that Musk will use to do more dumb shit and hurt more innocent people.

So Bessent has already fucked US consumers twice.

I wonder if he will go three for three.  If there is some big corrupt scandal in Trump 2.0, my guess is this is where it festers and plays out.  Hedge funds.  Crypto.  It's the same sort of ingredients it took to build subprime and derivatives under W.  As former WSJ reporter Bethany McLean outlined in her famous books on subprime and Enron, you need arrogant people - almost always very rich White men - with huge egos who believe their shit doesn't stink. And they can do no wrong.  We've got them, in spades. 

Trump is already talking about a sovereign wealth fund that could buy Tik Tok, blah blah blah.  A few weeks ago I thought, "They would not go THAT far, and be THAT stupid?  Would they?"  The mounting evidence is that they will destroy every guard rail in pursuit of a right wing agenda designed by special interest megadonors that America never voted for.  In fact, almost all of this is the Project 2025 shit that Trump completely denied.

Gotta watch out for those shady GAYS when they go to the dark side.    Bessent looks like a corrupt asshole, and I would bet that he's also a GAY hater ?     Why else would a GAY aid and abet Trumps agenda ?    It's scary and dangerous to watch powerful people drop to their knees to grovel, debase and humiliate themselves all in service of Trumps corruption and unlawfulness.   But they do it because they know they will be protected by an "absolutely immune" President  that is on track to "get away with everything he does" in a NEW America with no laws.   The only possible protection we have is the courts, unless we end up in front of a Trump appointed judge,  (Hello Aileen Cannon).   Can we even survive till midterms ? 

Its only been 2 weeks, and already, Trumps 2.0 administration is being labeled the "most corrupt Administration EVER, with the most unqualified cabinet"

I was going to post this with my initial post.  But I thought it would be distracting.

I love it that smart, witty Gay writers and directors can now be clever and make Gay fat cats the bad guys.   And we can laugh at ourselves.

Maybe we need to put Bessent and Trump and Musk on a boat and see what happens.  😉

Oh Hun, while I appreciate your attempt to lighten up the mood,  NONE of this is funny.   Today the Dems are freaking out over Trump & Musks latest coup attempt, and holding pushback rallies with Maxine Waters..... NOW they are sounding the sirens.  Where the fuck were they until Now ???    NOW is too late....  Trump and Musk already have their hooks in our govt, and there are no guardrails against them.   Even court intervention is iffy......  But, we knew if he was elected a second time he would accomplish what he didnt the first.....   We can kiss America good bye, and either move to another country OR reconcile we live in Trumps America now !

By 2028, IF there is any more elections (doubt it) , you wont be able to recognize this country......  And its the PEOPLES fault, not Trumps.  I would have rather had another 4 years of election denial for 2024 than THIS !!!!!
