Guest gorcum Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I love to drink 7up light or sparkling water, but the last few years I have not seen this in Thailand. I am getting a bit tired of soda and do not like to drink alcohol. any one one knows where to buy 7up light or sparkling mineral water? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 There are several 1.5 litre bottles of sparkling mineral water at the main supermarkets. I have seen San Pellegrino and most TOPS, and some also stock Perrier. But they are not cheap! Quote
gumbleby Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 any one knows where to buy 7up light or sparkling mineral water? Huh ? I'm not sure about 7up, but Every 7-Eleven, Family Mart etc. I've been into in Thailand sold sparkling water (naam soda). Look for Singha or Chang brands in the same fridges as the still water. It comes in stubby glass bottles with a red or red and white logo. Almost every restaurant or bar will have it too (they use deposit bottles). Ice, Cola, sparkling water and still water are the standard mixers for whisky everywhere. In fact the general availability of sparkling water is a major advantage of Thailand over Malaysia or Singapore as far as I'm concerned. Quote
Guest painai Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I recently returned from a trip to The Philippines. Interesting, you can buy diet 7-up in Manila, but I have seen it anywhere in Thailand. Quote
Guest ronthai Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I also would like to know where (in Pattaya) you can buy diet drinks like 7-up, Fanta and any sugar-free other drinks. Until now I have only found the cola's (Coke Light, Coke .... and Pepsi Max) I prefer the Pepsi Max, This can be bought at most Family Markt and most large farang supermarket. 7-11 does not have Pepsi Max. I know back home you could buy all drinks sugar free, but in Thailand other then Coke's it is hard to find, if it exists here at all. Quote

Guest gorcum Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Thank you so much for all the comments, I am really getting tired of Soda, sparkling water is ok, but my favorite is diet 7up, it was availeble up to 4 years ago, but diet 7 up disapeared from the shelves, I think i will have to pay for expensive sparkling water, but it is ok sice i do not drink alcohol, I can afford it. Guest joseph44 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Isn't 7up compatible or comparable with Sprite? Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I said I wanted a BUD light! Gorcum, I have the same problem as you. I drink hardly drink at all. So if it's not soda water and you can't get 7-up light, how about iced tea? It will have sugar in it from the can, so I ask for hot tea and a big tall glass of ice. Viola! Diet Iced tea! Will that work for you? Quote
