We need to remember that the Pattaya we see today is a result of the then current Thai government allowing the military personnel of some Western governments that were fighting wars in nearby Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia to send their young horny military to the Pattaya sleepy fishing village for R&R (rest and relaxation) where it is estimated that 400,000 military guys were sent to Pattaya for their R&R 🍆💦 Mavica and khaolakguy 2 Quote
khaolakguy Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Indeed, that R&R initiated the sex trade in the sleepy fishing village. That and the presence of a large US airbase at Utapao from where most of the illegal carpet bombing of Laos and Cambodia was carried out. Tourists from Bangkok wanting to go to a nearby beach would go to nearer Bangsaen or Hua Hin. Mavica 1 Quote
