New Years in Bangkok.

I’ve been home for almost a week and feel I should note a few things I noticed on my most recent trip to Bangkok. I was in the city over the New Year period, and it was a crazy time!

It seemed every gay Asian was in town for White Party. While I didn’t go this year I still ran into so many that did. 
 

Massage

I got a few massages while I was in town, I reported on them in other topics. Aurora Massage (a repeat with a previous guy), 15M (a 4 handed good time) and Klover. I also got Thai and foot massages from various places around Silom and elsewhere.

Hotel

For accomodation, I stayed in Sukumvit over NY, then a few days at Pullman G, then the majority of my visit at my old favourite, The Rose. Pullman is lovely, no issues with guests. I note the elevators don’t require room keys to get to floors, which makes it easy to have a friend visit your room, or make a house call to another guests room:) I actually managed to hook up with another guest the old fashioned way - crusing each other at the gym and pool!

The Rose has been discussed elsewhere, so all I’ll say is it remains a favourite. My only issue is because of its age it has no fire suppression system (sprinklers). I may review my stats here next time.

Silom Nightclubs

I checked out the new clubs in Silom. Rush was a big surprise. 3 or 4 floors, with the 3rd floor hosting an underwear party and the 2nd set up as a cruise area. Had a great time here on level 3. Lots of hot guys, almost all Asian. Some action on this floor (I was shocked about this!), but the main event was in the cruising area. I had a great time in there, playing with heaps of guys. They closed that zone around 2am, moving everyone to the ground floor before closing about an hour later.

i ended up going home with 3 Chinese guys (actually 4, but one crashed as soon as we got to thier apartment). I couldn’t believe my luck. I had played with one of them upstairs and he wanted to keep going. Had fun with 2 of them while the third watched and took some photos/video. That was a wild night!  I recommend Rush!

Beef is the newish big boy club. It was very popular every night. I went a couple of times, one night it was too packed, so I came again after NY. Friendly crowd, great service. If you like the larger gentleman consider checking it out.

Also did the staples, Balcony, Stranger Bar DJ Station. Always fun.

GOD never lets me down either. I prefer the quieter nights. After 1am or so the toilets on the top floor are very busy. Met guys from Japan, Taiwan and of course China there. I have always enjoyed GOD. People seem extra horny there;)

i didn’t eat a lot of this trip, but I did make my first trip to Madrid Pizza. Service was lovely and the pizza tasted fantastic.

Gogo Bars

For GoGo bars, I only checked out Fresh Boys and Dream Boys. FB had the better looking guys, DB the show went too long, with too many Drag numbers.

i did note Super A Boy and New Nature Boy are still open, though I didnt check them out. I didn’t off any lads either so don’t have much else to say about the gogo bars.

Saunas

First night I went to Krubb. There was an event on at 8. I got there at 8 and about 20 people were waiting to get in. I figured not too many people would be leaving for a while so left and when back the next night. I got here earlier around 5 and took advantage of the gym. Even before the show it filled up fast, 90% Asian, 10% white. Mainly twink or muscle. Had a great time here. I love it when it’s busy, people are there to play and there and don’t care if people watch. I love an audience:) It cost 790B, but that got you free entry during the week, free food and drinks, and access to the event, which was 4 muscle performers who interacted with the crowd.

i left there very satisfied. I went back on a Wednesday afternoon when it was far less busy but still had a great time. There was a hot Thai guy topping a Chinese lad in the steam room. I watched for a bit then joined them. Once they had finished I approached the Thai lad with the expectation he’d want to top me. I shouldn’t make assumptions, and ended up topping him just outside the steam room near the showers on the top floor.

I also visited 39 Underground sauna around 5.30. Very very local. Not much was happening for me until I caught the eye to two local guys you could describe as twunks. I was on my knees swapping between the two when one asked T or B. I was only topping that day and it turned out he was a bottom. So I fucked him while his mate stood above us feeding me his cock. I ended up hanging out with them for the rest of the night, the top and I tagged a couple more guys. One a beautiful skinny twink, another muscle twink with a hairy chest. It ended up being the best sauna visit of the trip. No other farang while I was there, almost all Thai, but non-scene. 

i also went to R3, where I’ve had an amazing time in the past (at thier foam event). No event happening when I was there, but it was packed nonetheless. My charm and good looks failed me here. While the crowd was very hot, there was very little interest in me. I didn’t notice any other white guys. I didn’t want to hang around when I wasn’t wanted, so ended up leaving after an hour or so.

Paid my first visit to Maxwell Onsen on a Saturday afternoon. Very nice place with easily the best looking crowd out of all of the saunas I visited (if you like young, fit, Asian guys).

One floor wet area, one dining area, and one relaxation rooms;) All the action I saw happened in the steam room. It got very very packed. While I’d didn’t have guys fighting over me, I still had a great time here, playing with a heap of guys in the steam. Met (another) cute Chinese twink and spent some time with him on the relaxation floor.

Apps

i only used Grindr while I was here. Ironically for all the people in town, I got less views and responses then usual, perhaps the visiting crowd were not looking for a middle aged Aussie.

I meet with a few guys, but guys I met had initially approached me. Two local guys. I plan on catching up with both in the future. My final night I met up with a muscle Japanese guy who was staying nearby. He had the most amazingly hard body I’ve ever seen.

In conclusion, Bangkok is still amazing, so many guys from China are making the trip to town. With a little effort they can be a lot of fun! I was surprised by my stamina on this trip, hooking up every day, sometimes multiple times. I was tempted to try some chemical assistance but found it wasn’t necessary.

For those wondering if they should check out the saunas, I would encourage you to. I’m no model, but I do workout a fair bit so I’m in decent shape. Confidence is sexy but don’t take rejection personally.
 

Thailand never disappoints. I am even more determined to finalise my work and move here on a semi permanent basis.

WOWWWW!! So hot. 🥵 Thank you for all the stories. You surfaced a side of Bangkok not spoken about in this forum too often. I'm taking notes and will check out some of these places in September.

I’m 52 years young.

My preference is for younger smooth guys. I’ve focused on my health a lot more in the last 5 years with diet and exercise. That has resulted in me feeling better, being more confident, and seemingly more popular than ever in my target demographic. 

I have been single for about 12 months now and have enjoyed the freedom that has given me. I don’t think I could keep up this kind of pace for an extended period, it’s all pent up demand from long hours of work with little time for socialising. I am interested in semi-retiring soon and travelling at least half the year, possibly basing myself out of Thailand to start. I take note of all the tips on here from long time residents to try to avoid some of the pitfalls:)
