Guest Simon208 Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Hi I have had the pleasure of going to Thailand and more specifically Bangkok (silom) and Phuket (patong) a 3 occasions in the past few years. I have enjoyed each trip. I hope to go on holiday in the middle of October, but this is my dilema When I go to Bangkok I stay in the same hotel in Silom...this I have no probelm with but end up walking up and down the same streets, going to the Irish bar near the Skytrain or a steakhouse bar call Roadhouse.. In Phuket...I have sat in Connect a few times and walk around the shopping centre. I could do these things in any major city without crossing the world. I do enjoy a good massage and sex. My questions are this 1. What am I missing out in in Bangkok - given that my flights are in and out of BKK It would be a waste not to stay a few days 2. Where else is worth a vist in Phuket of the rest of the country, where I can still have my massage and a chance to meet a few new friends aong the road 3. Should I be looking further a feild and fly into BKK and get a flight out to KL or another country Some insite into your experience and advice would be great. Thanks Simon Quote

Stay in one of the gay hotels in Boyztown and go to the bars in that area, go to Sunee Plaza at night, go to Jomtien Beach in the day time, take a laptop and play on GayRomeo a bit, hit the malls and have a blast. Pattaya is a great city if you want sex around the clock. If you prefer massage sex, we need to know where you have been. Read some of the threads on here about the massage places. There are tons of Hero (I know as I started many), and perhaps try Babylon one day as opposed to walking around. There is so much to do in both cities that you really can't get bored or lonely unless you want some free time. Give us specifics on exactly what you want and we will try to assist. Quote

I have been many times to Phuket, but the last was almost 3 years ago when I felt that the gay scene was pretty barren. This seems still to be the case judging by comments made on other gay sites. So, unless you want to spend time on the beach, I'd give Phuket a miss, frankly. Besides, in October you're going to be in for a lot of rain! Quote

Fly to Phnom Penh (Air Asia). 2 Nights. 1 Day sightseeing (refer to Lonely Planet) Bus to Siem Reap -3 Nights, with 2 days seeing the Angkor Wat temple complex. Taxi to Poipet & bus to Pattaya 7 Nights in Pattaya Possibly increase time spent in Phnom Penh & Siem Reap. Also, take care to download the various gay venue maps that google will find. Quote
