You can apply for one before you leave. The UK consulate website says you can obtain them in two weeks. I am still waiting for mine some 2 months later. Getting one of these before you go out will make your life easier in so many ways. It means you will be able to get a bank account, pay locals with the Brazilian QR code person to person system (PIX), and get a local SIM more easily This isn’t quite correct. Although you first do need a CPF number to get a Brazilian bank account, you ALSO need a residency number. In other words, non-Brazilian citizens or non-residents can’t open Brazilian bank accounts. As a resident here in Rio, I have heard there might be one or two rare incidents of banks allowing tourists or non-residents to open an account, but I have yet to see that confirmed. These are like urban legends! Also, Pix is for quick transfer from Brazilian bank account to Brazilian bank account — but if you do not have an account here and thus no Pix, you can also use a remittance service like Wise or Remitly ot even Western Union to send money into a Brazilian’s account through Pix. It’ll just take more information from both parties, and it can take up to 24 hours for the money to be transferred and deposited (most garotos, especially ones you don’t know and thus, they cannot trust you) will NOT be willing to accept being paid hours or a day after the programa is done. I am a foreigner with a Brazilian bank (Banco Rendimento) account and have been using Pix (recargapay, 99 pay, rendimento bank app) forever. I only have a CPF. I even have a credit card issued by recargapay. Quote

It looks like Banco Rendimento has a Non-Resident Account that requires a CPF and a few other documents to open, but not a residency number like an RG. May I ask exactly you how long have you had this account — like how many years? You say “forever”. I strongly suspect that this is a relatively new development for this bank, like with the advent of digital app-based banking. Brief searching shows that other than Rendimento, only Santander and BTG Pactual are also offering non-resident accounts. NuBank has begun setting up some document waivers for its “high deposit” accounts, so that also might be a place to start if one is willing to start with and maintain what probably adds up to several thousand USD or Euros à month in a digital Brazilian bank account. "Forever" is a figure of speech but I had this Rendimento non-residence account for a few years. I applied when there was a promotion (fee waiver) otherwise the monthly fee makes it not worth it. I am not sure if they have waived it for good. If you want PIX, Recargapay app is the best option. It can also link your foreign credit card to pay with PIX but this will incur 3/3.5% (sp) fee. Or you can top up by transferring some reais using Remitly. The best thing is your top-up reais in the app accumulate interest (103-110% CDI). A few thousand reais in the app earn me a few reais daily. It also offers virtual and physical credit cards. Another app is 99 (ride share) with its 99 pay. With only CPF (limited registration) you can use its pix but it has a limit of 1000 reais per month. I use this and rendimento as a backup when I need to use more than 1000 (max) reais at night - a PIX limit set by bank/gov. hornyfrog 1 Quote

Popular Post Cornilly Posted February 20 Author Popular Post Posted February 20 Part 2 Anyway for my first evening in Rio I had booked Lucas Lucas. He had several profiles and one or two reviews and he looked very professional. I liked the fact that his profile showed him going at it with overweigh clients, not just his beautiful peers. There was a risk from ordering him for the night in advance. But I reckoned if there wasn’t any chemistry I would pay him for a session and then send him on his way. So I arrived at 6.15 on a Friday morning having had very little sleep and the tropical heat was fabulous but enervating as well. I had arranged for early check-in and I had originally envisaged getting some sleep. But all the anticipation and seeing all the fantastic bodies from my uber on my way to the apartment, I just felt so excited and horny. I forgot about all my plans. I messaged one of the guys who I had been in contact with beforehand and who knew what to expect. To my amazement he responded immediately and was in my apartment 55 minutes later. I would say he was in his late 20s early 30s though his profile suggested much younger. https://garotocomlocal.com.br/acompanhante-masculino/luan-mattos/ He was the most shredded of all the GPs I “liaised” with. And best of all no tattoos. His charge was 250 R$. The second lowest I paid whilst there. I don’t think he was very experienced. And it was a little rushed. But he kissed and he offered his hole up in a variety of positions willingly. He was definitely my bit of rough whilst I was out there. He raided my fridge without asking and seemed to be constantly amused that a man my age would want to have sex But he had a kindness about him despite his bluster. So with some difficulty I stayed up until 22.00 to help adjust my body clock. The next day Manu took me for a tour. I had asked to avoid the obvious tourist traps. The great benefit of hiring Manu is not so much for the tour. But in orientating you to Rio and its gay life. He helped me find a suitable AirBNB with a tolerant concierge and to understand how to navigate the city and how to use the metro and tram. And of course to take me to Club 117. I would never have had the courage to attend on my own. Primeone385, Mavica, floridarob and 7 others 7 3 Quote
Members Peter803 Posted February 26 Members Posted February 26 Thanks for the wonderful report. Any advises on hiring online? Seems like more and more people going that route. I don't speak Portuguese, so kind of hesitant. Quote
Cornilly Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 Part 3 I’m glad I attended club 117 for the experience. And it is initially quite shocking and arousing to have these guys walking around showing you their huge erections. It was about 16.00 when we hit the club – dictated my Manu’s trip itinerary. So I would say there were only about 4 or 5 GPs. Many more clients. Manu helped to fix me up with a guy that was only 40% my kind of guy. His name was Alfonso. I haven’t found a profile. I knew from our conversation only that he had three daughters and that he felt he had a responsibility to give as much pleasure from the assets God had chosen to place between his legs. He had a lot of uncoordinated tattoos. He had a cross on his cheek with a tiny chrome pin at its centre. It intrigued and repelled me in equal measure. He had 20cm and it was strong and nicely formed so that his balls and cock almost appeared as a single item. I actually was very turned on by his body but he was a little haughty. So I wasn’t 100% sure. But we agreed a price of 300. I didn’t haggle. Then downstairs in the cubicle he was a revelation. He kissed passionately, sucked vigorously and fucked gently. I didn’t cum! You’ll understand when you’re my age. Because I wanted a round 2. In the event I decided after about half an hour to leave at the same time as Manu. The day before had caught up with me. The bill was $R320. Of course there was the entry and the cabin. And drinks for three. But together with Alfonso’s fee that was more than any of the boys off the portals. hurstwickham 1 Quote

Cornilly Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 "Thanks for the wonderful report. Any advises on hiring online? Seems like more and more people going that route. I don't speak Portuguese, so kind of hesitant." Part 1 provides my advice on the portals and how to choose someone. I met three guys who only spoke portuguese. No problems. You just make it clear what you want or use Google Translate. The others I met could get by with very basic English. I would't get anyone off Skokka or Grindr. If you talk to them on the video chat, you soon realise whether it is going to work or not. Peter803 1 Quote

I am 66 and lost my life partner a year ago. I now feel ready to reawaken my sex life. But I also crave warnth and affection at the same time. Do you think I will be able to find younger partners in Brazil who will be afffectionate as well as passionate and kinder to an older man? I presume I will need to pay but do I look online for people who fit this bill or do I try and find someone kind in the Saunas? The median age of the clients at the payboy saunas in Brazil is probably in the early to mid-60s. You most likely will fit right in. Let’s stop with this false narrative that men (gay, straight or otherwise) are always more attractive when they are younger. Have you even seen a lot of younger guys in the USA? Many may be still in their 20s or 30s, but they haven’t quite taken good care of their bodies or health, or are what the kids now like to say are “bad built”. In some cases, youth might be the ONLY thing they have going for them! OTOH, there are some men who age like fine wine. I’m not saying all, but some. hornyfrog, bkkmfj2648 and Mavica 2 1 Quote
