Hi  I'm hoping Forum members can give me some advice.   I am 66 and lost my life partner a year ago.   I now feel ready to reawaken my sex life.   But I also crave warnth and affection at the same time.   Do you think I will be able to find younger partners in Brazil who will be afffectionate as well as passionate and kinder to an older man?   I  presume I will need to pay but do I look online for people who fit this bill or do I try and find someone kind in the Saunas?

You might consider if you are a coroa, if I have the word correct. Older, maybe furry guy. Not sure if we would call it a bear. Some younger guys are into coroas. I have met a very small number of younger gay guys that are ok with older, but mostly to hang out with. FWIW I am not a bear. If you speak some PT you have some chance of meeting such younger guys. Will not be easy though. Best of luck.

As a newbie, definitely stay away from online in Brazil.
Stick to the safe saunas.
Assuming you are reasonably fit and have no mobility issues, here is a draft plan just to throw out some suggestions:

A nice easy first trip might be one-two weeks in Sao Paulo.
Get a nice hotel on Paulista Avenida.
See great museums during the day.
Around 3:30-4:30, take an Uber to Espaco Lagoa Sauna.
Bring ear plugs, seriously.

Like you, I like affection along with serious sex.
You can definitely find handsome young men who will be highly affectionate (I have found some great guys on this current trip), but they will vary a lot. In my experience, the most highly affectionate GPs tend to be bottoms, but some tops can be great at hugging and kissing.

Finding them can be tricky because most will claim they like to hug and be romantic, but that does not guarantee they will follow through in the room.

Be cautious about making much eye contact unless you think you have at least a semi-finalist to "interview."  More and more of them have Google Translate on their phones now, so communication is not too difficult.

It sounds like you might be at risk of having your heart broken and be seen as a sugar daddy monthly ATM if you are not careful. So try to resist falling in love right away and being exploited. Many posts on here discuss payment strategies.

Suggest you avoid admitting that this is your first trip to Brazil. A little white lie here would be valuable. Maybe allude to Rio (or tres Rio) because it may be obvious you're not familiar with Lagoa.

More info, how long can you go for trips, how often, are you retired, sex position, etc....

What's bringing your attention to Brasil, vs Thailand or Asia, Colombia...?

You can definitely find a GP willing to be affectionate, as long as you do not have bad breath, you are clean, and kind, besides of course being generous. 

@Xclay is sharing very good advice above. Make sure you are emotionally in a good place, because there is no shortage of heart (and ass)-breaking sweet hot guys in Brazil.

What @BlkSuperman says is very true. He can find you young guys that are tailored to you taste. But those guys would be more for pay. But his services of providing a list of attractive and nice guys is true. He helped me learn the sanuas and guys outside of the saunas. I will even go as far to say I was like a dog chasing every squirrel. He saved me from possibly making mistakes in spending to much money and going to places that might of been to shady. " Squirrel !" (IYKYK) Plus his tour services are top notch. He's fun to hang with as well.
