The incident occurred on the evening of January 4th in the Takhiantia subdistrict of Chonburi province. It was reportedly a pickup truck intentionally rammed into several motorcycles in a small alley. Doctors at Pattaya Patthana Hospital had to perform emergency surgery on a 47-year-old woman due to serious internal injuries. A 17-year-old boy also sustained a serious head injury and had to be transferred to Chonburi Hospital for urgent treatment. Witnesses said the driver of the pickup truck, whose license plate is unknown, deliberately hit motorcycles along multiple roads, including Soi Takhiantia 35, 36, and 45. The collisions damaged many motorcycles and injured several riders.
