And yet, I think you are thinking from your wallet and with no idea on how to run a (small) business when inflation in a month is higher than the annual inflation in most countries, developed or not. In my recent experience at 117 many asked for much more, even the low end guys. But usually the price never reflects the quality of the gps, mostly it reflects their personality...I think this sort of insane tourist price strategy by gps can really diminish the attractiveness of the saunas...At thermas in Barcelona it has been fixed at 50 euros ever since, even through the recent inflation and insane rental prices in the city. Unless 117 has a better strategy soon I am not sure if it will keep attracting both gps and clients...the market exists only if both the demand and supply meet but now 117 is moving in a wrong direction: lost the top quality gps and increased the prices etc. I am curious how the situation develops in the future. The price we pay for the escorts in western countries is much more higher than what we pay in Brazil, atleast 7 - 10 times more and, yet I see these bitches complaining about the little price hike. Locals are the regular clients, and the less they have to pay to enter the club, the more they can spend on suites and at the bar. — Drop the garoto entrance fee to something more affordable (that wouldn’t cause the GPs to raise their programa prices on clients to cocer the additional entrance fees). — Offer GPs a work incentive: the top 3 GPs who book clients who spend the most / book the most time in suites will each get their entrance fees comped. This would encourage GPs to get clients to spend more in-house vs. just getting WhatsApp numbers and going offsite. I thought the guys got in for less. I feel so bad. They're such nice guys and deserve the world. I get the idea behind charging the GP a few reais to work at the club. One: they are independent contractors by Brazilian law (although adult sex work is legal here, third-party procuring or pimping is outlawed), and as such, the entrance fee serves to separate the sauna business from the independent worker. Also, with the high risk of having any old ne’er-do-well walking in the club, you do need some kind of barrier to entry. Everyone should have some skin in the game. However, that entry fee for workers should be minimal. These kinds of clubs will fail without new youngbloods — and those kinds of guys in Brazil can’t afford much. Quote

I think you missed the whole point because they are talking about the the conditions for locals and then how it would affect the overall saunas advantage. Nonetheless the tourists pay quite a large amount of money to get to Brazil so if they're not getting an absolutely good value there's no point for tourists to go to Brazil to hire so simply comparing the rate in the Western countries to rate in Brazil is not very effective.
