If it 's him, certainly he deserved what he got.

Not sure we need to see his body neither that garbage strewn on the street, more fitting for provincial Sudan than prominent city in prime world's  power

Well, I suspect he hit a garbage can or two as he plowed down that street. And it was a rowdy, crowded street.

I think pictures like this should be shown more, so people don't think it's as clean as Hollywood portrays after a mass shooting or a gunman being blown away.

Pictures helped influence the public opinion to help end the Vietnam war .....

and whet you are hoping to influence end of in this case ?

Certainly lunatics like guy above won't be discouraged because they don't care

What about Reality? You were suggesting to hide this picture to avoid looking like Sudan, very close to lying according to your stated reasoning. Well, perhaps "first world countries" and "shit holes" are not that different.

not at all as we can plainly see in the originating picture.

Sudan was my poor choice of country - comment was intended to be about garbage all over , not dead body on the street. I should chose some other garbage infused provincial city in different country indeed.

as for Reality , people  are defecating  every day but somehow don't post pictures of it in their social media and nobody will accuse them about hiding the truth.

That most Americans think, that can't happen to me, or it someone else's problem.... Hollywood and the news not to mention video games, whitewash stuff to not offend anyone, especially in school shootings.

People ask me if it's safe living in Mexico.... to which I reply, I don't have to worry about about a random mass shooting in a church, school, movie theatre, walking down the street.... they have the impression that they are safer than Mexico, mainly because of the media.....if you're not using or involved with drugs, you have no reason to be worried about being involved with the Cartels.

And the disclosure in the title said not for you.... yet you opened it ☠️

Nope. It is just regular Bourbon street's environment.

from "The Bangkok Asset" by John Burdett:

"The Earth still looks beautiful on a map. I knew, though, that if one were to zoom in on any town or city and switch to camera view, the gorgeous electronic colors would disappear and the screen would show dormitory towns, pollution, shopping malls, and traffic jams, no matter which country you chose; our planet there days is best viewed from space."

Why do terrorists ALWAYS wear camouflage pants ?   Do they honestly think we wont be able to see them commit their deadly acts ?

Nevertheless, regardless of the deadly act, and the garbage on the streets, leave it to our dedicated politicians to coldly POLITICIZE it, instead of trying to find ways to mitigate it,    Shameful !   We really MUST elect better, more qualified and compassionate people.

Yes, Bourbon Street is like that during Mardi Gras. Not always that dirty, though. It is the most hopping street for bars and rowdiness, though.

Not a place for the stereotypical conservative Midwestern farm family to wander about on vacation (other than NYE).

Yes, there are parts of Mexico in which such fears are justified and where heinous acts occur, and innocents lose their lives.  We always think it won't happen to us.  No matter, or almost nowhere we live.  Until it does.

Because they can be bought cheaply in second hand stores

And ... in this instance ... the perpetrators, in New Orleans and Las Vegas (to a lesser extent) have active or retired military backgrounds.  Others, I don't recall that they wear camo.
