Are ladyboys gay?

There are many on this board that seem to believe that ladyboys are not gay. The thread has been evident in the one about Obsessions bar.

 

Do you think that ladyboys are gay? Do you think that men who have sex with ladyboys are gay? Please explain why you have come to believe this.

I, myself, believe that lady boys are gay. I have a lot of lady boy friends, they are all gay. And I don't think men who have sex with ladyboys are gay. Men are always men. They might want to have fun or they want money from gay. It is possible here in Thailand, men can have sex with GOOD gay, who they knew well. It is not because they want to, but they can do it for gay. They have great fun and good pay, why not?

Some of the statements are not exactly saying that. We're tending to say it's neither exclusively gay nor something we should expect the majority of gays to follow.

 

The point a couple of us are trying to make is that we like the male body. So why should we be attracted to female bodies, whether equipped with male or female genitals?

Why should we assume ladyboys are gay?

 

Whilst I expect some gay people will be attracted to ladyboys, we should not assume it's to be expected or event that ladyboys are a gay thing.

 

There was a poll in the Gay section of the Thaivisa forum a few months back.

 

From the results, it seems:

86% of gay voters were NOT attracted to lady boys.

91% of bi-sexual voters WERE attracted to lady boys.

61% of straight voters WERE attracted to lady boys.

Surely ladyboys are people who may be attractive to gays, bisexuals & straight people, but perhaps most gay men will tend to prefer other men.

Our preferences will show some diversity. However, I don't think it's necessarily correct to claim ladyboys are gay or even to expect that most gay men will be sexually attracted to lady boys.

 

Or put it another way, if we drew a Venn diagram, I envisage more of the ladyboy circle overlapping the straight circle than the gay one.

Of course not, unless they think and have the genes of woman, same as the guys who love Fem Boys or lady boys or boys dressed as women, they are more str8 than they care to admit.

I'm trying to figure out differences between lady boy and gay male. They both are person who are born male. Their sexual orientations are attraction to persons of the same sex. According to the Venn diagram, if I am a lady boy, I'm gay, and I'm a man. The end.
