I’ll be in Jomtien Supertown complex with my husband celebrating with bubbles the New Year (and our annual 3month stay in Jomtien). We love it here.

3 month stay during the high season?

I prefer my 3 month stay during low season usually around May June July 🗓️🗓️

But you may have your reasons

I am in Cebu City, in the Philippines, and I was able to have 2 distinct Happy New Year countdowns.

The first one from my 32nd floor balcony that overlooks the Cebu City and waterway that seperates Cebu island from Mactan island (where the international airport is). 

Since the Philippines is 1 hour ahead of Thailand - I shared my Cebu countdown via LINE with my *PMB back on Jomtien beach (11 pm their time).

Then again at 1am Cebu time via LINE with my *PMB who was watching the fireworks from Jomtien beach at midnight Thai time.

*PMB = Primary Money Boy - that I am now romantically involved with.

Only if you do not want to pay the new income tax on inbound remittances that were implemented by the Thai government.

Only 180 days temporarily "moving" outside of Thailand for the next 2 biennial tax periods.

By my age 69 no more temporary "moving" would be required.

Plus I get to have the experiences to see what it is like to "temporarily live" in other nearby countries in Southeast Asia.

Is there a difference to where you were last year in ...2023?

Will you be in a nightclub,dance bar ,at home , asleep 😪💤or in Go Go bar in Bangkok?

I had planned to be in Brazil. But with all the issues I have had this year with family members passing away and the roof needing major repair. I wont make it till May. But I will be home being grateful.
