Info organizing bangkok?

In anticipation of my first visits 2 Santo Domingo and 2 Thermas Barcelona, I thread-researched and then posted an organized summary of all relevant updated info.

I recently started 2 do the same about BKK, but the length and width of it proved too much for non-experienced me (visited 3 times in 15 years).

Would anyone of the experts b willing 2 prepare some kind of updated summary of venues rates etc?     It could then b pin-posted, and updated periodically.....

Apologize if I crossed a line. Should anyone rise 2 the occasion, I promise 2 treat him 2 a club night (-:

Honestly, that would be amazing, but I’m not sure if somebody would be up to that task because there’s just so much information about Bangkok.

I’ve not been to Bangkok yet, but I keep reading all the threads try to get information but it’s just too much and I get overwhelmed. It makes me nervous to think when I will visit Bangkok for the first time.

I agree there's "so much", perhaps - too much.

However, the task / info could b divided among a team: clubs/bars, massage, hotels, etc.....

I was nervous too when I first went to the bars in BKK. But this forum really help and you will realise that when you are in the bar itself, the atmosphere and the cute boys on stage will melt away any nervousness you have.

From my personal experience, i find that most of the mamasans in BKK are also friendlier and perhaps abit more honest than those in pattaya. Just be alert to any fishy activities and you will be fine.

Although the massage scene in and around Silom hasn't changed too much, new shops are popping up in greater Bangkok at a steady pace that it makes it impossible to get a complete and current handle on it, I find.

Over the past year, shops that have minimum tips are holding steady in Saphan Kwai (800-1200). In Silom, only a few places (i.e., Senso) have minimum tip but they are experiencing uptrend. Otherwise I would say tip expectations are a bit higher than SK.

Just talked with friend in Bangkok who works in bar and he says it is extremely busy with tourists. ST expectation for non-models is generally 2500.

we should call it boyflation or broadly speaking Thaiflation as prices went up in may corners, specially hotels in areas of Silom and Sukhumvit.

I think that's almost double the rate in colombia:

I think Thailand is pricing in  easiness of finding suitable guys , bar and spa infrastructure and complete lack of questions  " is it safe there and there past midnight" and warnings 'keep you wits around you in side alleys on the left of Avenida de Tres Quatros"

Then throw in the drink, boy drink and off fee....  A big hindrance to many on this board is the language barrier and for those that live in Asia/Europe, the travel distance.
Guys I go with are in the 100-150k (800-1200 thb) range and not by the hour..... 

I'll be going to Medellin in January and am touch with 6 regulars there.... Poblado, although touristy in prices is safe, I feel.  Keep your wits about you is also advice in Pattaya/BKK.... 🤷‍♂️

In March, I'll be going back to Asia, I bought roundtrip from Manila since the tix are generally cheaper FROM Asia than USA, So I have a return to that region already.  Will transit BKK but not going to stay in BKK this time, will go to Pattaya but bypass BKK, first time in 25 yrs. I'm trying to fit new places in every trip, will add Vientiane, Mumbai, Pune and Sri Lanka this time around along with places I've been before- Manila, Bali, Singapore, Pattaya, Istanbul.

Bought Round Trip from Sri Lanka, so I'll have a return to the area in October. Will see how I like these other parts of India to see if I explore more there or more in Indonesia, Philippines or wherever... is a big world.

BKK isn't the inexpensive destination it once was, not even the quality of sex, no sense in comparing it to London, NYC or LAX...I don't go to those places, even parts of Mexico is becoming ridiculous with what some guys are asking for,  lol

Been to Laureles....I Don't technically stay IN Poblado, yet it's close to where I stay...I like the vibe and restaurants in Poblado, Airbnb no problems with guests, security gets copy of ID, which I like and is $50 usd a night with washing machine and Supermarket at end of street. Can walk down the hill to Poblado, usually Uber up the hill, lol
