Ask Taxi driver to take you to Mixwells or Bali Joe or Face bar or Bottoms up! - they are neighbours... Go around 2230 onwards. Weekends can get very busy with locals and tourists and always a few straight couples who come and watch and listen to the music. The bars seem to like (terrible) drag shows but they also hhave go-go boys doing a song or two on the bar - mmmm. There are always many money boys there (mainly from Java etc). Negotiate - 250 - 300,000 Rups max if you like a boy to go with you. If you start to buy them drinks be carefly as they all (mostly) go for cocktails (at about 90-100,000 Rups each; a beer is ~ 30,000). There are many there who say that they are not money boys - this can be true but often they will ask for "petrol money". I never realised petrol can be so expensive in Bali!! Depending on your habits a great gay hotel (the only one in bali) is also in Seminyak - Spartacvs (with a 'v') - google it (run my an Aussie guy). It is totally clothing optional so if you are inclined, you can go naked everwhere - pool, bar etc. I have never actually buffed it (bit shy and perhaps undersized hehehe) but seen many slongs there. Unusual to see asian naked but plenty of white - especially those who have robbed from the rest of us (in terms of size!). And of course many asian lads there for breakfast.... (breakfast free for two) There are 12 rooms and about 20 staff (90% straight) and they are great people. It is inexpensive and they will give free transfers from airport (30 mins away) if you stay for 5 nights or more. I have stayed there many times and i really love chatting with the staff who are all lovely. All balinese in hotel are straight - the visitors from Java etc, ie the muslims are gay (Balanese are hindu predominately and uncut, the muslims are generally cut). Spartacvs is close to the gay beach - Callego where you can relax, have lunch and perhaps get take away for an afternoon delight back in your room! There are generally many boys there in the afternoon willing to assits in your needs! A "massage" place also close by is Golden Banana (inventive with name) where the massage is not bad. Massage is about 175,000 rups and of course you will have to tip the guy depending on whether massage is ++! There are other places nearby that offer similar and of course no hanky panky massage as well. Bali massage is very relaxing and I recommend it (the no ++ type). Enjoy your stay in Bali - it is fantastic and on that note - the restaurants are great. Anywhere else they would be 5*. Close to hotel- in Seminyak there is 'eat street' - all great restaurants - try them and they are cheap by western prices. Quote

Thanks Michael I know of no Bali site similiar to this one, but came across a couple of websites of interest. Check out http://www.fruitvillasbali.com/ for a gay place to stay close to the bars.
