TotallyOz Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 I heard today that the Mosaik has new owners. I have not seen this anywhere. Is this true? Quote
Guest No2 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I too would be interested in any info. I just finished a stay there couple weeks back and i noted the reception/office had been refurbished, also although the rooms in my opinion don't yet need refurbished had the addition of a new microwave and water heater/kettle which they never had before. They have taken a booking for a couple of months from now and it was from Nong the office manager who has been there for years. Quote

Is Nong that lady manager with no personality? It is my understanding that all the staff will stay. When the German guy died, he left the buildings to his boyfriends. The staff stayed on. Now that they are moving on, I am sure the staff will stay the same. When the German guy died, the place has gone down a bit. I am sure with new owners, they will make it even better than ever. I also hear the rates may go up a bit. It is my understanding that the new owner is a Thai man. Someone else in the know may know more than me. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Is Nong that lady manager with no personality? Nong is a man, with a very likeable personality. He is helpful and very efficient. Quote

Guest Thor69 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 They have a lady that works in the office from time to time. She is always very nice and helpful. Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 My Informants tell me, the only building sold of Mosaik is the one over the Bordeaux Restaurant to a Senior Chinese looking man, who works at Immigration and he intends to raise the rents by 20% I wish him luck, considering all the other rooms are sold out, may be it can stand 10% hike. But 20% time will tell. Quote
