TotallyOz Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Every cinema at Siam has different seating and different prices. It is important to know these if you want a good seat. I go there often and will start to make a list of all the options. Today: I went to Theater 6. It is a large theater that has 3 different kinds of seats. Paragon Chair - The back row is loveseats that are VERY comfortable. Privilege Chair - Rows A-C are VIP leather seats that have their own armrests. Premium Chair -The rest are comfortable and nice as well. These are the smaller of the 3 types in this theater and are regular USA type chairs. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Where is this cinema and do you have any pricing information? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 The cinemas are up on the top floor on the right side as you face Paragon from the Skytrain. Apart from the iMax theatre, I vowed not to go to one of the regular cinemas there after seeing one movie about a year after the complex opened. My reason was the air-conditioning. The hissing noise was so loud it completely spoiled the movie's quieter moments. Quote

Guest fountainhall Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 There are actually 16 cinemas in the complex, but these include some private VIP theatres and the iMax one. According to the official site, ticket pricing is somewhat obscure - There are 10 other standard theatres, theatres 7, 11, and 14 are for digital screenings and theatres 7 and 14 are for digital 3D screenings. Ticket prices vary depending on seats and screenings. Tickets for normal screenings range from 140 to 700 Baht, Digital and 3D tickets are priced between 170 and 700 Baht. http://www.majorcineplex.com/paragoncineplex/service-info.php?theatre=&lang=en http://www.majorcineplex.com/paragoncineplex/index.php The first page also has photos of two of the special small theatres with their VIP seating.
