Assuming you are flying internationally, I would plan on leaving Silom at 10:00pm. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Certainly it will not be more than 45 minutes, unless there is a major accident on the expressway - something I have never experienced in many dozens of airport trips. Of slightly more concern might be the length of the Immigration queues once you have checked in. It seems from my more recent trips that waiting times are improving. But 10:00pm - 1:00am is a peak departure time. Checking the Suvarnabhumi website, I note today there are around 60 departures, almost all wide-bodied jets, between 10:00pm and 2am. I'd allow a good 1 hour to clear Immigration just to be safe. Quote

Guest jomtiened Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 All taxis should go to the airport. Just make sure the driver uses the meter and does not try to negotiate a fare. If he wants a flat amount, find another taxi. You will have to pay the expressway tolls(maybe about 70 baht) and the taxi fare should be less than 300 baht. Quote
