Dear all,

Yesterday, over in the Massage Insider and Massage Addicted LINE forums, it was announced the following FIRST time combined event for massage aficionados: 

Unfortunately, I will be outside of Thailand (in The Philippines) until 03-Mar-2025.

This event sounds really appealing to me - perhaps, @Verchiele would agree?

Especially since it says that many of the local massage shops will participate with many of their massage guys performing.   WOW!!!

Maybe you would see your favorite massage guy on 18-Jan-2025 ?

This is a public service announcement.

The previously announced MIMA Party date of 18 January 2025 has been postponed.

The new date is 1 March 2025.

Here is the official announcement from the MIMA PARTY LINE account.

No other details have been published yet regarding the venue and program.

Today the MIMA LINE group published the revised MIMA party date of

• 15 March 2025,
• to take place at the Avani Rachada Bangkok Hotel - in the Platinum Hall,
• From 6pm until 11pm.

For those interested in the more upscale operations, this sounds like a good opportunity to expand your horizons. As I’m more attuned to the pedestrian locations, I can only comment on one of the shops listed above: 365 The River. Took the 40 minute ride out there on MRT a few times. Facilities are good as was the service, and pricing more in line with what you’d expect to find around Silom. 

My favorite way to find massage opportunities is to walk around Silom. It’s a target rich environment. Last night was walking toward Soi 4 from PP2. As I approached, all eight guys outside Olivia’s were glued to phones. Seconds later a guy in Adam massage yellow shirt (sitting at entrance to Soi 4) made eye contact, smiled and engaged me in conversation. He was fairly new and I agreed to one-hour oil (450 bht). After a very satisfying session, I asked him if he wanted to shower with me and the response came back, “sure.” Showers are down the hall and it first time at this shop I had pleasure of guy’s company.

Adam is one of oldest shops in Silom and often taken for granted. The guys there tend to be a bit older (25+). The boss has a reputation for being very good to work for and has no retention problems. Guys tend to be relaxed and competent. My choice certainly was.

Sorry guys - but once again, the organizers of the FIRST ever MIMA Party 2025 have amended the party date to Saturday 22 March 2025.  The venue appears to remain the same.  Note that this MIMA Party is limited to the first 120 people who sign up.  If you are not already a member of their LINE group, you can try to reach either of the administrators via Twitter (X) at:

They do not state why the party date is being moved again - but one of you forum members (you know who you are) mentioned to me that Moonlight is having its 7th Anniversary party on Saturday 15 March 2025, as reported on their web page at:  https://moonlightbangkok.com/

It sounds like they were hesitant to commit to a larger space because they’re not confident in how the event will sell. 

As much as I’m a massage aficionado, I would not be interested in attending. I prefer to do my own due diligence the old fashioned way.

Yesterday and today, the MIMA PARTY LINE administrators posted the below 2 party updates - as the advanced early bird admission price of 2,300 baht has now expired.  Any tickets bought from today forward are now priced at 2,500 baht.

 

I apologize that the below images are very hard to read - as whoever created it put too many words in a tiny font onto a small space - thus rendering it hard to read.
