Well I'm about to book myself & Boyfriend for March 2nd 2025 to Hanoi trip 

He will stay a week and I will probably go to another country,not Thailand again....I'm all Thaiiiied out !

I never been to Vietnam 🇻🇳so may do Hanoi with him for a week then go down to HCM 

I know ,it's like 5 months away and I'm planning now 😂

in Da Nang will be more sunny and +24C - +27C, also besides beaches and mountains there are hot springs, ancient capital of Vietnam Hue and fantastic romantic old city Hoi An with nonstop lantern festival by evenings.

So a quesion for @Olddaddy - why not just go somewhere and find out? And then tell us about your experience. Travelling around Asia is not expensive (uness you always want stay at hotels like the Capella in Bangkok!) There are tops everywhere!
