reader Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 The new Japanese brand hotel has opened on Silom. It's showing an introductory rate on standard room for 3,107 baht tonight. https://nnr-h.com/croom/bangkoksilom/en/ Quote

I think a member suggested that there were a lot of rooms without windows. Certainly on the website, I don't think any room picture showed a window. Quote
vinapu Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 There were signs of opening scheduled for Sept 9th so it looks they kept promise. At 3107 per night I suggest somebody else will try and report. Location is excellent , 27 steps from soi 4 but there are 30 hotels with marginally worse location in the area charging half of that. reader Posted September 13, 2024 Author Posted September 13, 2024 I think they're counting on expense account Japanese businessmen who want to be close to Soi Thaniya. 2 hours ago, jason1975 said: Is there a pool? If there is I can't find it on website. Quote
Olddaddy Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 I think I just stick to my beloved Tartawan 😘 Quote
jason1975 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 I did a search for December. No more opening offers. Cost of a normal room is prohibitively high! TMax and vinapu 1 1 Quote
BjornAgain Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Up on Business early October, just compared Suite with Breakfast, costing 18,362THB for 2 nights in Croom, whereas same at the Hilton with a pool only costing me 9,039THB. Think I'll keep with Hilton. Interesting the Croom website says Gym, but no photo as to contents. Also no pool. I think @reader is right, the Japanese men on expense accounts will be the majority of the clientèle. reader 1 Quote
vinapu Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 I'd say lets see if market supports such level of prices . Recently we had case of Le Siam which tried to rise prices substantially. They returned to normal level after few weeks , I guess either it was some kind of glitch or simply bookings evaporated. We have plenty of other options in the area Quote
