Guest axact Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I cannot access Sawatdee Gay Thailand as it tells me I am permanantly banned, pretty good going as I have never logged on to it and only been here a week. I get a message telling me my ip addy is banned but I am on wi fi from Pattaya Hotspot which from what I gather caters to prob 1000 ppl. I did email explaining but didnt even get a reply ? Surprised it's so popular.... Quote

The more time goes by, this seems to be the case. The old Pattaya Gay reports were fantastic but that is not the same as the current ones. I still visit their site and think it is full of great information. But, it is a once a month thing for me and not weekly every time you post this thread. Quote

Yes GT, I wholeheartedly agree that the PG Weekly Report as authored weekly by The Gay Pattayan - the late Dr. Allan Briggs - was the best and most informative resource of what's happening in Gay Pattaya and beyond too. Following his passing of the author mantle to Wally, Printer Graham and friends, the report was still full of informative and helpful data about the happenings all around Gay Thailand, and SE Asia too. Most recently, due to the work demands of its now Editor Printer, the report has been a posting of releases from gay and gay friendly businesses and activity, which is still helpful and most informative. It is updated weekly and at times more often as news is received by the Editor. When the report is released by the Editor, at his request, I post it on the 5 gay Thailand related forums. My sole purpose for sharing the one day views number was "for whatever it's worth". Just noted the differences, as a matter of curiosity and realize many variables are at play. Such as, the order in which a reader opens a forum...if Sawatdee GT is first opened, maybe they see the PG Report first there and open it...and so on. GT, you are the expert on websites...I am only a reader and contributor of posts. Hope you are fine and enjoying your visit to USA.... still in the big marathon run in NYC??? and then on to Brazil? Had a few yummy lads at the sauna every day and am going tonight with friends from the area to a nice Italian restaurant. Sao Paulo has some of the nicest restaurants in the world. Surprised it's so popular.... SGT can't be accessed from certain ISPs in Thailand. I found I could access it from certain hotels and not from others. No idea why... seems some ISPs have filter and SGT is on the list to be filtered out. Quote
