If he is indeed new to SP, I think Lagoa is the easiest and safest venue (and with clean beds). 

But sure, he can search for those other places too.

Next month wld b my 2nd time in SP, and since I havent read about these 3 places recently - m wondering if they r open and what do they offer that lagoa doesnt.
