Thats actually not okay. If people start entertaining higher rates then other boys might follow that too, hopefully not though.

He was asking 80e but quickly agreed on 50e.

Fully agree. But that Colombian guy was not budging at all - he was not even a fan of small talk or touching his impressive chest: "if you decide to go with me, come back and we'll go to the cabin when you decide", he said taking a step back . Wrapping a towel around the hips was also below him, so he was in longish jogging shorts with a towel around his neck. So I gave a hard pass - my experience shows that this attitude will be even more present in a cabin and the experience will be actually sub-par, even though he was certainly #1 in the sauna looks-wise. I had two other guys in the sauna that night, and it was a blast, so no regrets, it's a full experience what counts after all, not just the looks

Playing hard to get are some guys sales tactic....Like the guys at Jupiter in BKK not smiling or making eye contact....hard pass for me too, don't want to feel like I'm  buying a used car, no games

Just got back from this place - it is ridiculous.

I hung out with 1 Colombian called Christian, 1 domincan (forgot his name) and a Nigerian called Collins.  They start with a price of 50 euros - really cheap in reality - but it doesn't work out like that as the price goes up as you spend time with them. 

The Nigerian was the worst but all are similar - Go to the room and he says "I said 150 euro not 50." I'm horny, plenty of money... whatever... and then it's "I only top." Specifically I asked if you were a bottom and you said "yes." And so I say "okay, it's fine - I'm top too - I'll pay you and move on," Next thing... he pulls out the phone. He needs 1500 for the time plus 500 for the room. 2000 Euros. Needless to say, he got a 20 euro tip for time and nothing else.

 

On the flip side, on the last night I met a Brazilian twink kid called Eduordo. He was lovely, eager to please, intelligent and really good company. When I came to pay, he said it was okay; that he had enjoyed the night etc. and I had to force him to take the money by hiding it in his bag.

I’m not for one moment disputing your experience however speaking personally I have not had a payment issue at Thermas. They have excepted the agreed amount at the end. I have certainly had a few negative experiences in the Brazilian saunas however only one that was very nasty.

I have...wrote about it here somewhere , I had the Cuban bartender get involved one time...a couple of other times they tried asking for more money , but that's as far as it went.

I’m sorry for your experience. I never had an issue about money in Thermas

I do remember him. Very hot, hottest guy in the place. And he knew it. Asked 80E, didn't stick around to negotiate, disappeared quickly. Thinking back, I wish I had taken him up. I've been leery of guys who demand over the "market rate" because I get the feeling stuck up guys wouldn't deliver in the sack. There was a big Hungarian guy (actually Romanian) who said "cada uno tiene su precio" (everyone has their special price) and didn't quite deliver. But maybe I shouldn't generalize. I still remember a stunning, stunning guy back in the glory days of Wednesday nights at Lagoa who wanted 80R (back when that was worth something!). Never saw him again, or a night like that again.

Surely it was him, yeah. But unlike you, I don't wish I had hooked up with him. There is plenty fish in that big sea - maybe not that gold fish, but it's skills and attitude that sometimes prevail over looks. I really like to peoplewatch, and I was observing the guys who hired him - I didn't have an impression they were ecstatic or super-happy after the hook-up: you know how after a programa even if you don't hang out together with a boy, there could be some eye contact or tactile contact, or generally just a smile. I didn't see any of that, which just affirmed to me I didn't miss out massively.

I guess we weren’t there at the same time because he became a regular at my apartment as I don’t get in my own way or obsess with juggling a few extra bucks against FOMO anxiety that requires defensive rationalization. If I ever was caught with a sour look there it would likely be related to the dearth of attractive fair value adult male trade there and ponying up over a calendar year a tally of some hundreds of Euros on entrance fees without hookups; that’s where any overspending occurs but with occasional rewards.

I have visited the place today. There were very few customers and also not many boys. Maybe wrong day or time. The Dominican guy seemed very nice, but did not deliver what was promised. No problem, however, with the money agreed. I noticed few more nice boys when I was already leaving. I will probably try my luck tomorrow 😉.
