Members Lucky Posted June 13, 2023 Members Posted June 13, 2023 Has anyone stayed there? Details? Is it worth being close to Lagoa? From what I can tell, it is a revamped Comfort Inn. Quote
floridarob Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Rooms are small, at least the ones I've seen. They don't seem to have a problem with visitors, so if that and proximity to Lagoa is important, then that might be a tradeoff you have to deal with. I wouldn't wait to book something, SP has been BUSY and hotel rates have increased, alot and sell out, frequently Lucky 1 Quote
brall3 Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 I stayed there many years ago and the rooms ARE small. After 2 stays there, I decided to cross the hotel off my list of places to stay. The hotel use to have reasonable room rates, but now they are a bit high. Breakfast was excellent. Across the street from the hotel is a sex motel and the area is famous for female prostitution, many girls hanging out on the streets. So, the hotel is use to dealing with "guests" to the room. As long as I can remember, the name has been Heritage. Quote
jamieb202 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Has this hotel not been renovated recently? Last time I was there they had scaffolding around it Quote
Members Lucky Posted October 23, 2024 Author Members Posted October 23, 2024 I stayed their last year and my room was fine. This year the room was so bad that we only stayed one night. Be careful, they advertise it as a "prime" room. Quote
12is12 Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 So which hotel/s do u gentlemen rcmnd near lagoa? Quote
Pixu Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I will be visiting and spending 6 days in each of these cities in Brazil: Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Salvadore and Porto Alegre. Starting from March 26th - April 23rd 2025. I need help booking hotels or apartments which allow visitors. I wrote so many email to so many hotels/apartments in Booking.com & Airbnb asking them if they allow visitors. I didn't get reply from most of them and the ones who replied Don't allow visitors. I did recieve very few replies from hotels/apartments that allow visitors but they are expensive around $250/night. I would greatly appreciate if anybody could share some information about hotels or apartments that allow visitors. Thanks in Advance. Be Gay, Be Happy. Quote
12is12 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Unfortunately I can't help, however: 1 - sometimes the official answer is negative, but practically they dont care or cannot see. 2 - you can meet the guys in saunas. Am looking forward to your reports about belo and salvador, on which we read relatively little. Quote
Members Latbear4blk Posted February 28 Members Posted February 28 I do not think you will find hotels or Airbnbs that allow visitors to stay overnight for free. I do not do overnights, not because of that but because I do not like sleeping with someone else. I have my hook ups and my rent boys during the day, and I never had any issues hosting them. When I have doubts about a host home rules and I want to double check, I do not ask them whether they accept visitors without providing context. My question is something like: I am going to be staying in your apartment for one week, and sometimes I would like to invite no more than two friends for a meal, or to watch a movie. Can I do that? I have never gotten a negative response. floridarob 1 Quote
