Every time I go from a forum to the forum home, it says I am signed out. But obviously I am not. Then the posts I make don't show up on Recent Posts, but they do in the thread. ??

Log out.  Go to the homepage of the main site. Log back in and the click forums. 

However, I do see this post on Recent Posts and I see posts from other threads for you.

The logging in has been acting up since he site was revamped. It is working for me right now, but I am not confident it is going to stay that way the next time I do it.

As I go from page to page, I am alternatively signed in and out. Obviously I am signed in right now, but I was signed in all night even though it said I was signed out.

Oh, I just thought you were pulling an All nighter ?   I usually get my best "dish" in the wee hours....  And since you are the consummate pot stirrer, No time for rest !  

I have also noticed the discrepancy, so I sign out and then check it. Sometimes it seems that it is 2 steps: signing out for the overall board as well as the forum or subforum sections. 

Also, for a few days recently the main forum page did not reflect updates within forum categories. 

Even now, the main initial main BT page is prompting me to log in, but when I go the Forums I am already logged in.

I also provided a wacky profile pic and it is visible to me when logging in, but has not migrated to replace the circled R.

@TotallyOz, are you aware that this issue is still unresolved? It is extremely annoying.

Yes, it happens for me. I have talked to the admins and they are working on it.

 Suddenly my post here about another login problem was deleted or  moved to a different concern. Yet my alert on a post which I have created elsewhere has gone unanswered.

No post about another login problem has been deleted.  Perhaps you need to search every forum to see where it is at. 

However, your constant digs at me today is pissing me off.  And, it takes a great deal to do that. I try to be fair with all but pissy comments leads me down a path that I prefer not to go!

One has to wonder why any poster gives a flying fuck about this? It affects nothing of significance in the rest of his life.

Yes and No,....   some of us make an investment when we join these sites, of time and content, and in some weird, twisted way it becomes sort of a family dynamic eventhough you dont KNOW these people.  But you THINK you do.    So any event that occurs affects you in some way as well...  I dont understand Lars banning in this case,  but I am not the site owner, judge or jury.  It's a risk you take as an outspoken site member.  And there's no way not to take an action against you "personally".    In the end we really know nothing about the people we interact with here, their lives or their mindsets, and oddly enough what happens here possibly could have significance to THEM, something we really should be mindful of.... Being passionate about something doesnt change because of the venue you operate in.... If it did, then it wouldnt be a passion !   And some people just wear their hearts on their sleeves...

To Lars:    Enjoy your Time-out...  there often comes a point where we reach our breaking point and need a break to unwind and regroup.  God, I've been there dozens of times...

                  Your absence leaves a void, BUT we know you will come back stronger and better... I'm not sure I can fill your Void  (keep it clean) ,  but I will try a pair of your shoes and see....

                   A week is not that long..... watch porn, jerk off to the point of exhaustion, and plan your comeback "ensemble"...  Being fierce is OK, but LOOKING fierce is the ultimate revenge !

It is pretty easy to understand. Lars wanted a thread split. He posted in more than one place that I was not doing my job. I asked him where he wished to have the thread split and would have assisted. He refused to make an effort but kept going after me saying I was unfair and that he would be OK with a timeout. In 12 years, I don't remember giving many time outs and never for one week. But, when you ask for one and can't let something go, it often happens. That said, I was find with the debate but can only be pushed so far.  Lars felt I was unfair. I disagreed.  That all said, I truly value everyone's input on the site. But, I will not spend two hours of my day, any day, arguing with someone who tells me to do my job but will not make a suggestion. Read the closed thread and this one. Feel free to debate whether it was right or wrong.  I'm OK with that.
