Guest lvdkeyes Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 At the time I was going to Vietnam in April there were several reported cases of cholera there, so, to be on the safe side, I inquired at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital about a vaccine. After talking to numerous people I was able to get the vaccine for my bf and me. It required 2 oral doses a week apart and the second needed to be taken at least a week before travel. I forget exactly how much it was, but it was expensive. Quote

I forget exactly how much it was, but it was expensive. Over a decade ago, the cholera vaccine was recommended for my upcoming trip to Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. The dosing was the same as yours. I remember thinking it was also quite expensive (maybe $150 or so). Don't quote me on that. Quote
